Great little local place. Food was good and plenty. Git the French onion souo very flavourful. Menu is just the right size not too much. Service was fabulous. The front where the bar is looking good the back looks like a work in progress but I'm sure it will be great.

We found this place on our third try. The first restaurant wasn't open yet, the second restaurant only accepted cash, we only had a debit card and happily on our third try we found Tavern on the trail. It is very clean and welcoming as soon as you enter the tavern. Our bartender was very friendly to everyone there. The sandwiches we ordered were delicious. I had a steak sandwich and my wife had a chicken steak sandwich. We will definitely be returning there on our next visit to the area.
The food was very good. We've had all different kinds of burgers and every one was very tasty, cheesesteaks are awesome, clams, cheese curds, all good! Fries are fresh cut, which I normally don't like bc they are flimsy but these were the best fresh cut fries I've had. I would definitely recommend trying this place!!!

Food came out at different times which was fine til the waitress/bartender forgot about the last person's food that we had to ask the kitchen if it was done since everyone else was almost done eating by that point. Had to ask for napkins. A few of the tables were dirty (had dirty plates on them, crumbs all over them)
