“It has a dive bar vibe with a huge bar area surrounded by some tables. It gets pretty busy at night. We didn't eat, but the pizza and wings looked good.
It seems like a great spot for drinks with friends or if you enjoy pulling up a few seats at the bar and people-watching.“

“I hosted a 30th birthday party here for my friend and everything was fantastic! was able to add some touches with permission from the restaurant, staff was very kind and attentive. Definitely reccomend !“

“We celebrated a surprise Birthday here and the trays of wings I ordered were piping hot and delicious!!! The service and gratitude from the Bar owner and staff made us feel very welcome. This bar got a bad rap for awhile when they were leasing it out, but their has been a big change in things there. This was my 3rd time here for a party and every time we had a very nice time. Their patrons, bartenders, and staff are very friendly, and inviting. Its good to see that some of these past bars are making a great come back! They sell food if your hungry, and there is plenty of parking in the parking lot just outside.“
“Was here the other year with my girlfriend on a random road trip. We did some bar hopping and came here on our travels. Cool little spot, the bartender was very nice and the bar patrons were hilarious. I came away with some money gambling on the one machine that helped out with our bar hopping adventures LOL for not being from the are we were treated like one of the regulars“

“I don't normally endorse just any restaurant, but we stumbled upon the best Mexican restaurant in the area. La Cantina Amigon on S. Main Street in Wilkes-Barre is the place you need to go when you're craving excellent Mexican food, great service (see Delia), and fair prices. 😋👍🏻👍🏻 🌮“

We stopped by for dinner and drinks tonight. My husband had chicken cheese steak and it was delicious. The chicken is fresh not frozen. The bun was toasted. So delicious. . Made to order, asked if he wanted the peppers and cheese on it. He dis. So yummy
I had a pizza with onions. It was thin and and plenty of cheese and onions. They were not skimpy. . It was so delicious .
The bartender, owner,and cook were so friendly and nice.
Prices are reasonable and the music on jukebox was great.“

“My friend Berry comes here and loves the mozzarella sticks. I wanted to take Abdul, but the drive is kind of steep. Anyway, if you live in the area, the place is really well known for the cuisine! It’s a little off the beaten path if you aren’t familiar with the area, so you may want to use your car’s navigation system.“

“When my Jeep grenaded it’s serpentine belt I pulled into the owners lot where I was greeted by Don and Vicky, they looked at my car, insisted I come in to stay warm and even gave me a few pints to take the sting of breaking down away! “Love Franklin’s go there often. Yesterday we tried to sit outside on a beautiful afternoon however, we were disturbed by an individual with an amplifier and a microphone, professing religion, and the Bible to the point where his volume was disruptive to our meal. Employee of Franklin indicated that he’s been told about this before. Call the mayor’s office. His secretary says it’s permissible and that if it bothers me for me to call 911 for the police to handle. Spent a lot of money between drinks and dinner there not happy at all. Wilkes-Barre‘s administration want people to come downtown and patronize businesses. I’m not gonna go down there if I’m gonna have to listen to that for two hours.“

“Always a great time when I come to Rodano’s. I’ve been there for full dinners with family or just drinks and a light meal at the bar. Aside from large events, there is always a place to sit and relax. Lisa is by far my favorite bartender. She always brings a smile to my face when I know she’s working. Plenty of parking downtown and close to public transportation if needed.“

“Had wings when we were here. Lots of options. Food was good service was confusing. Multiple people involved in delivery and questions as to who got what. Noticed a staff meeting of sorts in the hallway so maybe it was a fluke. Wings were done well. Drinks were good. A good experience overall“

“Great food great staff it’s just that when we went to use our coupon that we paid for the bar tender stated that they don’t honor the full 30 that they would honor only 15 bucks which I don’t think is fair but it won’t turn us away just thought it was a little uncalled for when that’s what the coupon states“

“A staple in the northeastern Pennsylvania cuisine scene.
White tablecloth fine dining, menu excellent , genuinely welcoming.. they have a cozy little bar for a table for two on a busy night. Staff is wonderful, truly great service and I believe there is a gentleman that opens the door for the guests ( at least that's what my mom told me ). Also I'd like to know that they chose to put those tablecloth mats on each table, so your plates don't ping off the tabletop, things sit nice, comfy on the elbows.. As a dweeb, I take notice of those extra touches.. just sayin'
Delicious traditional dishes, but with a real touch of genuine.
They put craft and dedication to cooking these traditional dishes.
The staff is one of the finest in the area, service was outstanding I would say make sure to order the special. Even though you might not know what it is, you can trust that this kitchen will deliver an amazing plate.
Recently I went there with my parents, and they reminded me to wear something nice and make sure I don't have any holes in my jeans.. haha!
That's the kind of place this is in a great way.
Isabella has been doing it great for I would say almost 20 years one of my best friends used to cook their way back when and was always regarded as a very great kitchen in the area.
Always a great choice.
