Breaker Brewing Company

We decided to try the Breaker Brewery in Wilkes Barre for dinner.

First things first - the atmosphere was great. We were seated in the bar area and there was live music. Very pleasant surprise.

For food, we shared the nachos and had the pork sandwich and fish tacos for dinner. Overall, food was ok for a brewery. Nachos were a good size but chips were the basic round store bought chip and the meat was over seasoned and salty.

Fish tacos were okay - good amount of tilapia for the price but lacking on the mixed greens and sauce - more or less a generous piece of tilapia in a soft shell with some sauce. A suggestion to elevate this dish would be to add slaw which is mixed with the sauce to the taco.

Pork sandwich was okay - a little light on the pork - torpedo roll was very good. You may want to request the relish and cheddar spread on the side as they give the BBQ pork a different flavor profile.

We tried a specialty drink called the Reindeer Russian - I had the mint version and it was very flavorful. Rate it a 4 out of 5. Also tried Mojito - flavor was good - another 4 out of 5. Only comment is that the drinks are mostly ice with not so much 'drink'. The Cherry Blackberry Seltzer was okay - a little lacking on flavor. Rate it 3 out of 5.

Service first was good at first when we first arrived but then became oddly absent. We had to get someone when we went to order our dinner dishes, additional drinks, and the check - it was a little odd but maybe that is how it goes. We went with the flow given we just liked the atmosphere and were just chillin.

Overall, 3 out of 5. They have a great location and atmosphere with strong foundation on the drink and food.

Good food, good brews in a cozy space. A nice break from faceless corporate chains. Definitely a great find!

Best brewery in the area big selection of good beers inside and outside seating and wonderful trivia nights.

Came for trivia which was amazing as always!! Crowded but manageable our table was a bit wonky but service was good. However, Something was off about the food though it tasted microwaved and Luke warm which we mentioned during the meal. Also greasier than usual. The bratwurst and buffalo chicken dip especially. There must be a new chef but for the price we will only do drinks and trivia from now on when we visit - hope things improve soon!!!

The tables where trivia is held need to all be locked - someone is going to fall or spill things. Only complaint

Everything was great! We were greeted by Emily, who was so sweet and polite. Service and food were excellent and the patio was prefect for a beautiful late summer night.

The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing 10/10 highly recommend

Excellent food, drinks and service! I'm not a beer drinker so I opted for a mixer that was very good. Crab Rangoon nachos were fantastic, the tuna tacos were packed with ingredients and very delicious! Will definitely return!

Delightful menu with something for everyone. It was a beautiful spring day and the patio dining was very enjoyable with great service! Try the Poke Bowls - delish 💯
