Flaming Crab Wilkes-Barre

We recently dined at Flaming Crab as a party of six and ordered a family special for $172, along with an additional four lobster tails. When the food arrived, only two of us ate a lobster tail each, and there was only one left on the tray clearly, only three lobster tails were served. We brought this to our waitress’s attention. She went to the kitchen and returned saying they had included all four, but this could have easily been verified by checking the shells in the buckets. When a male waiter came by to swap out the buckets, I specifically asked him not to take them because we needed to count the lobster shells. He insisted on taking them anyway, saying he would count them in the back. He returned a few minutes later, saying that there were three lobster shells. That would be impossible, because we had only eaten two lobster tails, and there was still one on the tray. Shortly after, our original waitress brought out another lobster tail, which made it the fourth one we were originally missing. However, we were incorrectly charged for five lobster tails, even though we only received three initially and were later brought the fourth. Despite this, we were still charged for five lobster tails, which felt like an accusation that we were being dishonest. What bothered us wasn’t the money we paid the bill but the principle. We didn’t receive what we were charged for, and the way it was handled felt unprofessional and disrespectful. If you don’t want to risk being scammed or treated with suspicion when you bring up a legitimate concern, I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Food was great at usual but the blue crabs are REALLY tiny right now!

Wait time for a table was an hour, then over a 2 hour wait for our food. There was just 2 of us my husband got a fried fish basket that we had to ask for after the boil finally came out and what a surprise it was cold . Then he also ordered garlic noodles they came out last. The glass the draft beer was served in was cracked. The bathroom was disgusting filthy. We were finally served our food after 2 hours with no plates, garbage bucket, no bib or wet wipe and no utensils had to go track someone down to get those.The boil, lobster bisque and garlic bread was good..the service was terrible. Never again 🤷‍♀️

Excellent food and service!!! Cinthia was an amazing server, she explained everything very well and all around was a pleasure. Ish was very good too, he was super enthusiastic. definitely recommend!!
