Decided on dinner night at Frog Pond tonight. Well, that was a mistake. I order a grilled chicken sandwich. It came out, looked good. I cut the sandwich in half, tried to take the first bite and instantly the chicken fell out of my mouth. It was slimy and cold. If you have ever bitten into a piece of chicken that is improperly cooked, you know the feeling.
The waitress took the entree, and said “I’m discussing with the manager how to fix this”. The manager comes to the table to tell us and I quote “for the reputation of my restaurant, this comes precooked. If you didn’t like it, it’s fine. I took it off. It’s fine, you dont have to pay for it”. Then continued to continue to get more pompous and loud about the reputation of the restaurant, to where my 10 year old niece with me was embarrassed. If I didn’t want to pay for the meal, I simply would not have went out to dinner. The issue was that chicken was COLD and SLIMY. Even giving the benefit of the doubt and it did come precooked…… seems as if it wasn’t thawed out and cooked long enough.
No one thought about the reputation of the restaurant as my family has eaten at this establishment MULTIPLE TIMES since it opened long ago. No one thought about reputation until the owner decided to disrespect the paying customer, and even make a 10 year old afraid to eat her dinner. Well done, Frog Pond! I’ll make sure to spread your reputation for customer service!!!! I wish I could score negative stars for what this place has become.

Call at 8pm and tgey dont answer the phone to order or closes early, its ridiculous and happens all the time after 8pm. Who closes at 8:15pm on a Saturday night during the summer? Just put it in your hours online if thats when your going to close.

We took our staff to The Frog Pond for Wednesday Wing night, to blow off a little steam after a long day in the office. What a great little treasure this restaurant/bar is.The wing specials were amazing. The wings were sizeable and meaty. We tried a selection of the sauces and if you’re looking for something different, try the cucumber wasabi.Pizza was as advertised! We had the white Sicilian which is just cheesy goodness. We also ordered the bacon double cheeseburger MJs way (highly recommended)Drinks were very good and reasonably priced and served by the very personable and attentive, Kevin.Just a great neighborhood spot!

Dined in with my son and consumed an alcoholic beverage, my glass was empty when I left the table to use the restroom, when I came back my son told me that an owner grabbed him by the shoulder and accused him of sipping my drink! My son asked him if he was joking and the owner said "no I'll let it slide this time!" The usual waiter/partner said that he addressed the problem and I appreciate that, however we will no longer give them our business and we have been eating there for years.PS check the cameras in your dinning room before making accusations and putting your hand on a minor!
What an amazing time! Great food, awesome people and the owner and staff super time. Wish it was closer, I would become a regular!

Came from. Out of town for a comedy show and just by luck found this delightful pub. Everything was superior!! Enjoyed the frog pub Hamburg. White tomato and Broccoli pizza. So delicious drinks were good and super friendly and prompt service. If it wasn't so far from home we would be regulars. I would encourage anyone to stop In..
