Golden Star Chinese Restaurant is a consistently great takeout spot. After a fire about a year and a half ago, they came back strong. Family-operated, very friendly, and they continue to serve excellent Chinese food every time.
Some of the best Chinese food around, great price on lunch specials which is usually what I order. I order online through ChineseMenu (yep that's really the website), it's always ready within the 10 to 15 minutes it takes me to arrive, and the food is still perfectly steaming hot when I get back, whatever ancient Chinese proverb they use works. Just the right amount of salty and greasy for me personally, a sinful meal surely but it's far from bland and not "sick...
Normally when I order from here there are no issues and the food is great. But not tonight it tasted terrible. It was so spicy we couldn’t even eat it and instead of egg rolls they gave two spring rolls that I don’t like. The driver demanded I put a tip on the receipt even though they got a $4 delivery fee.
