New China restaurant's food quality has been inconsistent, with some customers reporting overcooked sweet and sour chicken and doughy General Tso chicken. However, the egg rolls have been praised as exceptional, and the won ton soup is loaded with freshly made wontons. The restaurant's lobby could benefit from cleaning and freshening up. Despite these issues, the staff is noted for being kind and friendly, with fast and hard workers.
The food is amazing, with generous portions and fresh ingredients, including perfectly cooked vegetables and great dough for dumplings. The egg fu young is the best ever, and the menu is large and easy to navigate online. Prices are decent, and parking is available right on the side. The restaurant is cash-only unless ordering online. A small waiting area has bubble gum machines and toys for kids, and wheelchair access is easy with only a small bump. New China has become a favorite for many, with fast service and consistently great meals.
