“Pierogies were purchased as a fundraiser for the former Candy's Place now know by an additional name. Cooked them at home. They were tasty, dough is firm, just right and the filling was ample, and tasty. We'll continue to buy them over other choices. You have a winner Lauren!“

“I live 60 miles away, but while traveling up Rt 81 heading home, I discovered this hidden gem in the Polish section of Nanticoke/Wilkes Barre. Growing up in NJ, we used to go to The Pierogi Factory, which was in a renovated large garage behind a house in Wallington. There sat three or four grandma's, aprons on, and they made tray after tray of fresh pierogi's. Well, I just stumbled into a similar place, but it's in a house! Dad, and two of the kids making lots of varieties of nice sized, fresh pierogi. There's all the regular standbys, plus many, many others. I bought sauerkraut, potato extra cheese, fresh Halupki ( OMG soooooo good!), and a nice ring of kielbasa. They also make fresh stuffed cabbage (gwumpki), packaged and ready to go. Their prices are good for fresh homemade products. I'll let you know once I try the kielbasa at home how that was. (Tried and very good.)I already know that my car will automatically turn off the highway every time I'm traveling nearby and stop here for some fresh Polish items to bring home.Parking is right up front. Paul took care of me and was very friendly and helpful. Folks, stop here at this Mom and Pop Pierogi store. I think you'll be glad you did.Note: After trying the pierogi's, they were found to have a good flavor, but the dough was more like a pie crust and thick. The sauerkraut was more potato mixed in.“
