The Scratch Kitchen & Anthracite Room

I’ve been to Scratch for breakfast and always was happy. Today for lunch ordered a burger asked medium rare, even more rare side. Came out couldn’t even bite into it. Second time still so gross. 🤮 waitress was so sweet she brought me chicken soup. Honest the chicken in soup was awful dry!! It’s soup. I have issues with texture and I can chock on anything! This was so bad.

I went there with the family for breakfast, just wish they were open for dinner as well, the food is really good

This is a hidden gem. The food selections are great and unique. The food was fabulous, and the service was wonderful. Would definitely recommend it.

I went to scratch kitchen for the first time the other day and I will defiantly be back! The staff were all smiling and very friendly. The atmosphere and energy in there was so happy and relaxing . I was surprised because it was so busy but despite all that the staff still kept smiling. Also loved my food. Thanks again for being awesome and making your customers feel welcome!

Server was great, food however was not.
Red potato home fries came out ice cold, i told the waitress and she got me another order. Barely fried and unseasoned.

Eggs were undercooked to my asking. Asked for over medium, got over easy. Mentioned it and got brought new eggs. Still over easy. Come on, its not hard to fry the eggs just a little longer.

Mentioned i dont like certain ingredients, food still came with those mentioned unwanted ingredients.

I wont be back. 1 and done for me. Will be feeding the leftovers to my dog.

Tasty food with superb service. We started out with the French Onion soup and that was hot enough to burn my tongue. I had the Boardwalk Beef (prime rib sandwich with au jus) and fries. My daughter had the Mascarpone Cheese and Strawberry stuffed French Toast. Son and wife shared sides of corned beef hash, potatoes, and sausage. A great deal of food for the price. You won’t be disappointed.

Clean facility, friendly staff, and regular specials to enhance the menu makes this restaurant so enjoyable. The food no doubt is served just as it should be. As for what I ordered.... Reuben omelet with lightly toasted butter thick sliced rye bread....declined the potato options only to enjoy that second piece of rte bread.
This take on an omelet is one that makes you want to return more frequently. Would I recommend this place ?? Heck yeah !!😁. Come hungry !!
