“We enjoyed diner out last night on the patio, lovely atmospere and the food was delicious, however, service was severely understaffed! Not sure if they were inside where there were only a few dining or what but we must commend our server, Stephani... she was fabulous and did everything she could to keep up with all her tables. She was attentive, apologetic for the wait and extremely courtious. She deserves recognition for her efforts! This is a we'll go again soon, for sure but, maybe not on a Friday night! The menu is pretty much just fried stuff like chicken tenders, French fries, Mac and cheese bites, stuff like that... It's all pretty great when you've been drinking and dancing, though, so please don't think I'm complaining!

The servers behind the bar are great! The karaoke DJ is really cool. The crowd is nice, warm and welcoming. Good vibes here! And obviously, us LGBTQIA folks are the target clientele, so we're made to feel very much at home in the cultural wasteland that is this town.

“This business is a family type bar where everyone gets to know everyone. Last visit was a live band celebrating someone soon to be married. Saw several good friends, has many amazing drinks as well. Nice relaxing bar. It does need a redesign and fixed up a bit but it still is a place to call home.“

“This is a premium dive! It's dark, kind of gross, and filled with smoke. Draft beers? Nope. Wide selection of bottles beers? Nope. Surely they have a good liquor selection... Absolutely not! The bartenders are friendly, and the drinks are cheap, and sometimes they turn the lights on. What more can you ask for?“

It is a smoking bar, which adds to the charm. These types of “dives” are slowly being lost. I was happy to stumble across this one.“

“I was there on Sunday August 20th to hear the band and have a few drinks. The band was amazing to say the least. Turkey hoagie very good as well as my Captain and Coke. I'm very glad that we have a local pub/bar with entertainment that is within a mile radius of Lake Wynonah. That is the great news however: I do have some concerns for the owner and establishment.It appeared to me that the bartenders there on Sunday we're very unexperienced and didn't have any training. They appeared lost on the POS system and the one was way over pouring drinks. The wait time for the food was entirely too long for the crowd that was there.I am kind of disappointed because I really want this place to survive and do well. Having 6 years of experience in successfully managing a bar, I'm not sure if Southern Grill will survive if there are not protocols put in place and people trained well to work as a team.I really hope I'm wrong because I really enjoyed myself over the weekend.“

“Would definitely recommend stopping by here. We made a pitstop off the highway here and our food came promptly. I had a bowl of chilli and a 1/2 burger, both were excellent, my partner had the soup of the day (clam chowder) and prime rib sandwich which was also fabulous along with the chips that came with both meals. We had a side of fresh cut fries to share that were good too. The server, "Leslie" was very busy when we arrived but she still had good insight and recommendations, while being timely and attentive, even with it being Saturday at lunch time.“

“We had a wonderful anniversary dinner tonight at Barrel 135. My pan seared scallops melted in my mouth and my husband’s steak was cooked to perfection. The tailored cocktails were amazing and our server Kelly was delightful! Check them out if you’re in the area and looking for a unique and pleasant dining experience.“

Don’t order the KING Prime Rib unless you want leftovers! Kids menu is a plus. Walked over to the Dairy Shack and all got Penn State Creamery ice cream for dessert. Perfect family night! “my husband and I went to dinner at the Old Corner on Sat 7/13---EXCEPTIONAL all around - service, food, atmosphere. I got the chicken with a spicy bbq sauce - It was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend! The service was A+“

“OMG we had so much fun. Great band and bartender was very good. However my husband got pickpocketed by a heavyset short haired white woman pretending to help him with the gaming machine. She got over 200$ so beware of other patrons. Too bad people like that have to ruin a good time. But I will go there again and just watch my wallet!“
