My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Franco’s. The atmosphere immediately reminded us of the classic speakeasies, with a warm, intimate, and inviting feel that made the evening special from the moment we arrived.
As the son of Italian parents, I have a deep appreciation for good food and authentic flavors, and I was genuinely impressed. The dishes were delicious, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. It was the kind of meal that leaves a lasting impression.
What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the hospitality. The owner and the servers were the best part of our visit. They were welcoming, attentive, friendly, and made us feel like valued guests throughout the evening. Their professionalism and genuine warmth elevated an already excellent dining experience.
Between the outstanding service, the unique atmosphere, and the delicious food, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Franco’s and would gladly return the next time we are in the area.

Great place to eat in Williamsport. Great Italian food and very charismatic staff. Highly recommend it.
Best Italian I’ve had in a while with a nice selection and they remember your name with the meal. Would come back anytime in town. Great talking with Jessica and John. Amazing cannolis too.

We had such a great experience at Franco's Lounge Restaurant & Music Club. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and authentic — the kind of classic Italian restaurant where you immediately feel comfortable and know you’re going to enjoy the night.
The food was outstanding. The lasagna was absolutely incredible — rich, comforting, and clearly homemade with layers of flavor. The Frutti di Mare was fresh and perfectly prepared, and the Fra Diavolo had just the right balance of spice and flavor without overpowering the seafood. Every dish felt like it was made with real care and attention.
What truly made the evening memorable, though, was the hospitality from host Fred Daniele. Fred made everyone feel like family. Attentive, charismatic, and genuinely passionate about the restaurant, he elevated the entire experience. Service across the board was spectacular — friendly, professional, and never rushed.
This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommend for a fantastic dinner, wonderful atmosphere, and authentic hospitality.

The food and people were amazing. I got a chicken parm and it was the best I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly breaded and cooked, sauce was freaking amazing, and the melted cheese on top was divine. ALSO that chicken was like 3 inches thick, no flatted sad puck of a chicken. I tried calamari and canolli for the first time and have to say I'm a fan. My sister has had calamari before and said it was the best she's ever eaten. They got us in last minute and we're so nice, introducing themselves and showing interest in our experience. 10/10

In Williamsport, there is an Italian restaurant with a distinctive reservation-only policy, where patrons must ring a buzzer to gain entry. We've been very curious about this place and last night got to experience their food and atmosphere.
Our appetizer, the pan-fried calamari, was well prepared, with a light seasoning and breading, and served with house marinara. Each main course came with generous slices of thick Italian bread and a choice of either salad, soup, or chef vegetable. I chose the 'Et tu Brute' Caesar salad, a house adapted version that excluded eggs and anchovies. It was incredible and I unfortunately missed the opportunity to snap a pic. Our mains, the homemade cheese ravioli with a meatball (no pic of the meatball...sorry!) and the homemade linguine with spicy Italian sausage were both excellent, with the latter receiving a thumbs-up from my spouse. Unfortunately, we were too full to sample the desserts, which included cheesecake, cannoli, and tiramisu. Service was extremely attentive and we enjoyed talking with Barbara, our server.
This place has definitely earned a spot in our rotation of favorites.

What a lovely place. My wife and I saw it from the outside and just had to stop in. It’s a vibe from the moment you ring the doorbell to get in.
When Alfredo greets you at the door, shakes your hand and asks your name, it’s like he’s welcoming you into his home.
The food is top tier, fresh and seasonal options. The inside is such a great setting and I would highly recommend you make a reservation and experience it yourself.
