“I just came into Scott’s By Dam by happenstance in the middle of the day for lunch. I was so pleasantly surprised with the excellent price, ambiance and the friendly staff. Scott did such an excellent job at making me feel welcome and valued. The food quantity was enormous as well, the large Buffalo chicken taco was massive as well as delicious. I highly recommend coming to try the food and meeting the wonderful people here.“

“So, along with some friends my husband and I stopped by Friday(4/7) night. We would have never stopped by it wasn't for our friends suggestion. I love this "new" hole in the wall place. There are very few places my husband feels comfortable at. Southmont Gardens is now one of those places. Keep up the good work“

“Stopped here on the way home and tried the Smoked Trio special. I'm so glad I did! The smoked brisket tasted awesome and melted like butter in your mouth. The ribs peeled off the bones just like I want them too and the smoked sausage was spicy and flavorful. I decided on the fries and these weren't your normal stick fries, they were more like very thick potato chips. Very nice twist on that. I really hope they make this special a regular menu item.“

“The Elks Bar And Lounge is a great place to go for food, drinks, dancing, pool, and meeting with friends. You can rent the dance floor, for birthday parties, wedding receptions and other formal or non-formal events. Community atmosphere with personalized encounters with wonderful staff. Enjoy yourself and relax, I highly recommend.“
“If you enjoy house party's, this is about as close as you can get to that without having to clean up afterward. Small cozy friendly place hidden in Dale Borough where you can drink your favorite beverage, shoot pool, throw darts, rock the Jukebox, play Golden Tee or grab a Pizza n Snacks.“

“delicious food! Best pizza around hands down! The loaded bbq brisket fries are to die for! Caesar salad is great and the wings are PHENOMENAL. Always my first and only choice for pizza night. Food arrives hot and is packaged with care. Only issue I've ever had with them is once they put the wings on top of my salad in a bag and the doordasher wasn't careful with it. It was a huge mess....but wasn't REALLY the pizza places fault. If you live in Moxham this is a no brainer dinner choice.“

They have a small but efficient menu, also my personal most favorite coolers very vintage & beautiful. Only re: for 4 stars: no live entertainment. Always a great bartender here“

“We had the absolute best experience with Balance for our wedding! From the start, they offered a wide variety of food options and even let us do a tasting, which made the planning process so fun. Everything was executed perfectly. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was incredible as well. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We received so many compliments from our guests, who all raved about how much they loved their meal. We are so grateful and couldn’t recommend Balance more highly! Amanda and Chef Dallas are amazing!“
“Wife and I had to find a place to hangout for a couple of hours before we got a shuttle back to Ohiopyle. We had to get off the laurel highland trail due to bad weather. What a nice group of people there. The bartenders were so friendly and took care of making some food for us. Also got to meet a nice local named Misty.“

Excellent food and there's a back room with booths for privacy while ya eat. Ya font gotta go home but ya ain't staying there after two a.m.!!! Lol, the guys don't play that! “This place is great!! I loved it so much I came back the next day for more! And then again the next week!! I definitely recommend! Also, little side note, the owner was the kindest and most polite owner of a restaurant i’ve even met! He made the whole experience 10 times better!! GO HERE!!“

“Visited the Johnstown Chilis last evening. We sat at the bar with Maddy as our waitress. She was fabulous! She made drink suggestions, gave us insights on the menu food, and was just pleasant and fun to be around. She made us feel as though we were her most important customers. Thank you, dear Maddy. You made our Johnstown Chilis experience wonderful. . . mostly because of you.“
