“Came here for my nieces first communion I got the 16 oz NY strip it was delicious very flavorful and the garlic mash was to die for. Only thing I would change is the chairs outside but it’s about the food not what you sit on. I rate this experience 9.7/10“

“My husband and I have been coming here once or twice a year for many years, we used to bring our kids when they were younger after a mini golf game at Jim Macks. We always get the same thing, my husband gets a large pepperoni pizza and I get a cheesesteak hoagie. We always think maybe we will try something else but we end up getting our usual because we love it. Always friendly service and don't mind waiting a little longer for the pizza.“

There is plenty of seating, a large game room and many options! The bathrooms are clean and the waiters and waitresses are excellent! Honestly, I don’t know how anyone could knock this place. “This is a members(men only) only club. Once a member, you may bring your wife/girlfriend whenever you go.The place is great to hang out and have a couple of drinks. The cheapest drinks you will find but that do not deflect from the service, which is incredible.Stop in a see how to become a member!!!!Does not serve food but does have snacks and sandwiches to buy.“

“This place is so underrated. I don't get it, the parking lot is practically empty all the time but this place is legit the best restaurant in the area. The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... I don't get why this place isn't packed. If u pass thru Etown u need to go to the Black Gryphon.“

“Be careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers, which can happen with any tavern along the river. About 10 days ago they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. That guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. It was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved. The owner needs to hire some beefy enforcement right now to keep a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere.“

“I work for Able-services and today my group had a lunch outing. Upon our arrival we were greeted and sat right a way. Lauren was our server and she was great with my participants helping and talking them through what the cost of their meals would be before tax and tips, so they could stay within their allotted budget. She was very attentive to us making sure we had everything we needed and upon paying she made sure to have separate bills for each of us, giving 1:1 attention to each one as we paid. So a Big Thank You to Lauren for myself and Able-services today.“
