Second time eating here and we love the atmosphere, food and service. Sadly they will be shutting down at the end of January (Maybe they’ll have a change of mind with strong support!) Excellent wings (hot honey) and traditional fish and chips with curry sauce for chips (cut Irish style) Nice beers on tap and bands playing Irish music both times we’ve ate here. Bar area looks relaxing and inviting though we sat at a table.

The food is outstanding, the service was great. It was empty because of bad weather so no real atmosphere to speak of. Best fish and chips in

We have visited the Yankee Chipper now a few times and have really enjoyed it. The service is very good and the menu is getting better and better. They have had some really tasty specials recently...crab cakes with an awesome corn salad side. The fish and chips are amazing as well. The beer list on draft is great...not a ton of beers, but a very nice list and they are all brewed in PA. The Yankee Chipper brews its own as well. The stout is as good as Guinness, if not better. They also make great cocktails if that's your thing. They have also added tv's and high tops to the bar area. That combined with some of the menu items....wings, burgers among other nice options, make the Yankee Chipper not only a nice local restaurant to visit, but also a great place to catch a game, a stop for happy hour, or just to hang at bar with friends. It's a pretty low key atmosphere, which is really nice when you don't feel like fighting for space or a table. they also live music nights...not overwhelmingly loud or anything crazy. Highly recommend them....they are still relatively unknown, but when the word gets out, I would expect it to change.

Great, traditional Irish pub. Saturday night meant live music and it was an Irish folk singer tonight complete with educational moments on the meanings and terms of the songs. Brews specific to Yankee Chipper add to the experience. Meal was hot and tasty. We had the bangers and mash and the seared salmon and some great fries as an appetizer. We stuck with entrees but they have plenty of variety at all price points. Only wish they had not run out of the steak but all the more reason to do a second visit.

I ordered the traditional fish and chips.,The food was super greasy and inedible. The fish was undercooked inside but the batt was so oily that it fell off before I could take the first bite. The server was nice. I will probably not go back.

My freind Steven suggested this most awesome restaurant. We all went there for dinner this evening. The food was exceptional, It is truly the best place for fish and chips. My Husband & I are going to make it our favorite place to eat. The staff is so awesome and the owner introduced himself and was appreciative. The ambiance is so cozy& The authentic Irish delicious stew was actually the best I have ever had.
