Second time eating here and we love the atmosphere, food and service. Sadly they will be shutting down at the end of January (Maybe they’ll have a change of mind with strong support!) Excellent wings (hot honey) and traditional fish and chips with curry sauce for chips (cut Irish style) Nice beers on tap and bands playing Irish music both times we’ve ate here. Bar area looks relaxing and inviting though we sat at a table.
Yankee Chipper is a local gem with a low-key atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. Their fish and chips with curry sauce are a must-try, and the hot honey wings are excellent. The beer selection, including their own brews, is impressive, and the stout rivals Guinness. The addition of TVs and high tops in the bar area make it a perfect spot to catch a game or enjoy happy hour with friends. Live music nights add to the charm without being overwhelming. The menu offers a variety of options, from bangers and mash to seared salmon, all served hot and tasty. Although they may be relatively unknown now, Yankee Chipper is a place worth visiting before the word gets out.
