I sure hope you enjoy the bagels bc you won't enjoy anything else here. I stopped by for a coffee and pastry: coffee - subpar, muffin & pastries - whatever you call below subpar. The staff has DMV energy and one of them referred to the business as a "not really functioning" establishment, lol. Oh, almost forgot to mention the flies I was constantly batting away. Nasty.

Native New Orleanean here. Had the best baguette away from home I've ever had today. Stopped by for some pastries and bagels but so glad to know they are amazing bread-makers, too.

I'm newer to the area so I happened to stop in and try their Butter Rum Muffin...I'm sold. The people at the counter were attentive and friendly. Their menu has enough to please anyone so I'll be bringing my daughter with me next time since she is a bagel sandwich connoisseur.

Pulled and almost purchased an outdated packaged cream cheese. Employee asked me to see if there was any more. Explained that was it wasn't my job to do that. Asked for a refund on my chai latte after finding they didn't have any and was almost refunded the incorrect amount after I said something to the cashier. There's a clear and evident disconnect with most of the employees I had dealt with.

This is a nice bagel shop for a quick bite to eat when you are shopping. The issue I have with this place is the staff and service. The young lady that took my order was not very inviting. It wouldn’t kill you to smile. I ordered ice coffee and had to wait 10 minutes for the barista to come to the expresso station to prepare it. Then, they ran out of oatmilk. Also, I ordered my food to eat in, but they gave me take out, which is a waste of bags. This place has the potential to be great, but with so many other food options in the shopping center, this place just won’t be my go to.

Had the worst service today, ordered a bagel and left for 15 mins to go to another store. Came back and asked if my bagel was ready. The person who I ordered with told me it wasn’t ready and proceeded to go on her phone behind the counter. While there was two bags behind her she didn’t check and I proceeded to wait. They called out 3 more people and then she finally checked the bags behind her. NEVER going there again. My bagel was overdone. They are also WAY overpriced and not worth the wait.

Bagels are great but the place is incredibly dirty, old and tired. I would go for the bagels but nothing else is worth the high prices.

Although this was my first time going to their cafe, I've been a fan of Delancey's bagels for years!! My Nana Bea (rest in peace) would always order dozens of bagels from here and share some with my mother and I, and the pumpernickel & pumpernickel/rye swirl bagels were always my favorite!! The cafe has such a cozy feel with very pleasant employees ready to help! I ordered coffee and there were several flavors on tap to choose from (as well as non-dairy milk options). I also ordered the Tuscany grilled chicken sandwich on a pumpernickel bagel and it was SOOOO GOOOOOD!!!!! I'll definitely be keeping our bagel tradition alive in our family by coming here!!

I ordered a turkey bacon club on an Everything bagel. This was the bacon I called to speak to someone during business hours and noone picked up. I was thoroughly disappointed at the quality.

The manager ( posted his photo ) is the rudest guy in the food business I have ever seen ! I placed an order online , I gave them 30 minutes to make it .. when I got there They still did not put it through . I asked them nicely if it's possible to start working on it . He flipped on me saying I don't care , and I don't need your business ! Guess what ?? You will never see a penny from me !

This burnt abomination is the everything bagel they used for a breakfast sandwich & sent me via Door Dash. One of their “bagelologists” proudly looked at this bagel and said

I am sorry to say this, but their bagels are awful!! So disappointed! We chose to visit this shop because of a magazine article that gave the bagels a very good rating. I am always on the lookout for a great bagel, but these were hard, too heavy and extremely dense. They were not crispy at all on the outside. There was no chewiness or tenderness on the interior. I couldn't believe the weight of the bag with only 4 bagels in it--or dare I say bricks?! I never, ever toast my bagels, but I had no choice with these. I tried both whole wheat and regular varieties and neither was good. Maybe they were having a horrible day, but I regret to say I would not even go back for a second try.

it's above average. I get the sense they have been there so long folks just think it should be better but it's always been kind of average. The dining area was a little stale, looks like you'd need to clean a bit on your own. The bagels were fresh. The prices were a little steep, but isn't everything these days. i'll go back...3/5

I'd give Delancey an average grade. Customer service wasn't the greatest, and a little pricey for the quality your getting. I did enjoy the juice and spreads that were available in the refrigerator. A bunch of different flavors. Nice place sit and enjoy coffee. That about it.

Ordered 2 Steak egg and cheese bagels and they were absolutely DISGUSTING! The eggs were dry rubber. The steak was a 'just add water' square. The cheese would not melt at all! The bagel was stale and hard. Completely inedible. Its a clean peaceful establishment with an attractive website. But do not be fooled by this as I was. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
