Amazing food and great staff
Russo has a great variety of Italian foods to buy and to eat. There’s a deli in the back where you can get fabulous paninis and other Italian foods. Order something, pay for it, then sit in their booths to eat it. No tip required!
Only got a pizza and a few other items and holy man, food was 10/10 would come again if it was closer to home
This is the REAL deal when it comes to authentic Italian foods. From their freshly made Italian bread, salad olive bar spread, prepared focaccia style sandwiches are all mama mia yummy! I only buy pasta made in Italy and you will find a wide variety of grocery goods here imported from the Motherland.
Of you are looking for food Italian goods and delicious food then drop by! A little bit on the pricey side but with imported goods it's a given and well worth it
Nice,clean,friendly, delicious!
One of my favorite places on earth! I was in town for a wedding looking for a place to get some snacks to bring to the hotel. Luckily for me, I was within a few minutes of Russo‘s. When I walked in, I thought that I had made it to heaven because it was everything you could want in an Italian supermarket! I had a big event later so I left with a few items. Imagine my delight, the wedding was catered by Russo’s! Everything at the wedding was scrumptious! I returned to Russo’s a few weeks later traveling about an hour and 15 minutes and it’s so worth it for me. I can’t wait to visit again!
Such a great place to shop. I went in to grab some prosciutto and their deli counter staffer gave me a great walk-through of the three kinds they carry along with a sample. I have a new favorite! Good produce and bread as well, and a wide range of less commonly stocked Italian ingredients.
Great Staff and knowledgeable, helpful, and professional market.
During my visit today I was greeted rudely by the lady behind the meat counter I requested prosciutto cut large enough to cover chicken breast. Her only response was to gruffly say how much. even my daughter with me mentioned how rude she was. but what she gave me instead were small pieces from the butt end of a leftover piece that were very small. I asked her about the size of the pieces telling her again what I wanted to use it for. She irritatedly replied that that's all they had even though I Could see an entire uncut portion in the deli case. I felt that she didn't care what my needs were and that she was going to sell me what she wanted whether it met those needs or not. I felt that because she had already cut it into slices and packaged it that I should take it but in hindsight I should have just left it because it really didn't fit what I needed which were pieces large enough to wrap chicken breast. I think I just need to find a new place to buy prosciutto.

We visited the Russo Gourmet Food and Market, on our way to visit the near by Reading Museum.
I love when I see a business family owned.
When I stepped in the door and fell like I'm in Italy. It's hard to describe how authentic but this is the closest supermarket representing a typical Italian market.
I had the Honor and the Pleasure to meet Carmen and her family, in my visit. I found so many items you can only find here without flying to Italy.
If you are looking for Italian market in the region this is the place.
Bellissimo, grazie!
