The Berkshire Family Restaurant is by far the best breakfast diner in the greater Reading area. But unfortunately, service is hit or miss -- we waited nearly 30 minutes two of the times we visited -- once was not busy and the other was busy. We were seated at a table because several booths had not been bussed (and they remained un-bussed for most of the time we were there). Nice food! It is great for breakfast or lunch or dinner. It is not too expensive either. Which is always nice for how it can be this year in 2024. Nice staff. Very friendly and very knowledgeable about the food they’re serving. I prefer the breakfast over the lunch or dinner, but they’re all very good like I said. very good yes yes.
