We loved our pound cakes from here! They were delicious. This was one of the businesses my school choose to support and the kids loved it. We can't wait to support as individuals in the future. Stopped by the stand at the Clark Park Farmers' Market (Yes they do have a tent there!) Purchased the following 3 items: Strawberry Shortcake, Banana Pudding, and the Peach Cobbler to-go. 2 of the 3 knocked it out of the park, while 1 could use some improvement for the vessel it was in.
The Strawberry shortcake was great, the strawberries were nice and ripe, fresh, and the ratio of fruit, to cake, to icing/cream was just right. Would recommend 8.5/10. Personally, would love to see just a bit more cake in there for the price.
Banana Pudding was a straight hitter. Light, but pleasant, this is the opposite of the heavy puddings you may be used to. 9/10
Peach Cobbler was more of a difficult one for me to chow down on. I think it was due to the following reasons: 1. the ratio of crumb/flour element to filling was both too little and too soggy. It was more difficult to distinguish any flavors from them or texture, nor was there enough of it side by side with the peaches. 2. The peaches were great, but they kind of overpowered the crumble/dumplings mentioned in reason 1.
On the peach cobbler I might suggest it less as a eat-on-the-go option and more of a: take home and eat with ice cream option instead.
Overall, 2 out of 3 hitters and 1 so close to being what I wanted it to be is not bad! As an afterthought, perhaps providing a spoon with each desert purchased would make consumption on-the-go much easier. I'd love to imagine just buying a desert and sitting down in the park to eat it nearby.
I love seeing Pound Cake heaven’s stand at Clark Park farmer’s market! They are such kind and outgoing people, they offer samples and they always have new and interesting flavors to explore. I tried their lemon blueberry pound cake and it was absolutely heavenly!!!! 100/10
We’ve tried their cakes and pudding, and everything has been so delicious and not overly sweet! Very fresh ingredients too. My favorite is banana pudding. It also doesn’t feel heavy!!

I used to order from pound cake heaven carrot cakes strawberry shortcakes they always delicious I made one to be made love pound cake heaven
Ive purchased these cakes and banana pudding twice and there wont be a third. I was hoping that the first time was a one off but unfortunately I have now twice found their cakes to be very dry, the icing hard and the banana pudding bland and without banana or many wafers. Not even the strawberries help save the cake in the strawberry shortcake. The banana cream frosting on the vanilla cake was really bad. In short save your money.

I accidentally dropped my $6 slice of cake on the sidewalk outside (still in its plastic box) and it looked exactly the same. Not a single crumb out of place, the icing didn’t even budge. Is this even real cake? Now I’m a little scared to eat it.

Just go see Denise at her bakery. I really had very high HIGH hopes, and they crashed and burned them. The older gentleman I spoke with, was very kind. Customer service was top notch. I really just need the cakes to be better.

I drive by this establishment all the time so I decided to give them a try. The customer service was great but the slices of cake not-so-great. I bought 5 slices and they were all flavorless and dry. I was so disappointed, considering they were $6 per slice. I will not be returning! This slice along with the other 4 are going right in the trash.
