Super limited menu, always out of cold brew, dramatically overpriced, seemingly can't ice coffee, staff does not seem know much about coffee in general, ordered a matcha that made me sick and then overheard staff warning another customer that their matcha always makes people sick. Location and aesthetic here is wonderful, everything else is rough

Cozy café, great coffee. Perfect pitstop when you're in the area. The interiors are done up well, making the cafe very inviting. Good for meetups, silent work time - all while having good coffee!

“York’s Hidden Gem for Coffee Purists and Creative Souls”
Belmont Bean Company isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a local institution quietly redefining what a small-town café can be. Nestled in a charming corner of York, this place blends small-batch artistry with big-league flavor. Whether you’re a pour-over purist, an oat milk latte loyalist, or just someone looking for a peaceful corner to recharge, Belmont delivers.
The espresso is dialed in like a barista’s masterclass—bold, balanced, and never bitter. The beans? You can taste the intentional sourcing in every sip. But it’s not just the coffee that wins—it’s the vibe. The interior has that warm, reclaimed-wood-meets-industrial-cool aesthetic that feels both handcrafted and honest. The staff? Down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and happy to talk shop without pretension.
Pro tip: grab one of their seasonal specials—mine had lavender and espresso and somehow made perfect sense.
Belmont Bean Company is a flagship example of local excellence—thoughtful, consistent, and clearly built with care. Five stars across the board.

I’m not overly fond of some of their coffee drinks BUT I love their matcha and chai lattes and I love taking my kids to the back where they offer a play area that is unique from any other coffee shop that I’ve been to.

Cozy place with great atmosphere. Staff very friendly. Coffee is the best in town. Baked goods are also delicious
I don’t like giving bad reviews, but my last experience at Belmont Bean was bad. My wife and I came in for a quick latte and while it was slow and there were four employees, it took 15 minutes to get our drinks. My latte was not good, my wife’s was only slightly better. We came in for a quick good latte and got neither.
Quite place and our favorite coffee location in York. They do serve foods, but I have not had any of it. Their coffee slection is vast and modular. The Sand dollar is very good. Their hours are shorter on Sunday, just a note for planning. It is off of exit 19 and a good jumping off point for activities in the area and a good date location. It also has a game collection and a small area for children to play in a kitchen toy, a piano if your talented, and quiet locations to read.
I can't believe I can't find the photos there. Will update later
I went here with my daughter. Our beanuccino tasted like whipped cream and only cream flavored with too much syrup. The muffins were okay, but dry. My daughter said hers tasted gluten free (maybe it was and we missed it?). The bagel I got was not toasted much and the cream cheese was on the side. I guess that’s probably fine. Everywhere else I’ve been had it already on and so I couldn’t just eat it in the car like I’d planned. I had to stop and spread cream cheese. First world problem, but here we are.
Overall, it’s a cute place but I don’t think we’d return.
Cute place, accessible parking when I went. My barista/cashier was very curt. I double checked the policy for iced coffee flights, you can't get them within an hour of closing, but in our experience we couldn't get them within 1.5 hours of closing either. The coffee was ok, I got the fluffernutter coffee and I would not repurchase it again.
