It was amazing on all levels! We had the Tapsilog, kids chicken bites w/ french fries, frog legs, Lumpia and of course, the Halo-Halo!
You can tell they put love and care into every dish. So delicious, and the owners were so kind and made it feel like we were regulars. Which we will be now! Much love!

I’m shocked I didn’t write a review before now. I am obsessed with the fish! I have been craving it since our first time ordering when they first opened.
Took my boys here today to dine in and our server Jenni couldn’t have been any more sweet! Very accommodating, friendly, personable, just amazing! Even the male there was super nice. He asked if my son enjoyed his time jumping at fun city because they knew we were going over there to jump. I read a Facebook review today about how they’re nice, but nice doesn’t even touch the surface of how amazing they are! Best lumpias around. My bf loves them as well. Portions are generous and will not disappoint!

Very nice people! And the serving size of my meal was enough for at least TWO meals!

We were visiting from closer to Philly, and this place was a pleasant surprise. We ordered the sinigang, garlic fried rice, the longanisa with egg, and the lumpia, plus halo-halo. Everything tasted homemade, rich, and delicious. The lumpia were extra juicy and perfectly crisp. The longanisa were sweet and tasted lightly fragrant of something I couldn’t put my finger on that added a layer of complexity. The garlic fried rice had egg and maybe bagoong, giving it more body and a layer of savoriness I haven’t had before. I think I’ll start making it this way at home. I actually filled up so much I only had a small sip of the sinigang, which was still piping hot. Plus, their halo-halo is incredibly luxurious, with a dense flan, I’ve ice cream, and a Pirouline wafer cookie on top.
Like any reputable Filipino restaurant, Kusinang Pinoy also sells Filipino condiments and snacks. I picked up some Datu Puti spiced vinegar, sugar cane vinegar, and some Piroulines.
The store owner/chef was very kind and sweet, and she had put my halo-halo in the fridge to stay cool while I was on my way over. 10/10 recommend.

It was the first time there. We each ordered a lunch combo and a dessert. The food was seasoned just right. It came out to the table piping hot. The service was very friendly and helpful because we weren't familiar with the entrees on the menu. I we definitely go back to eat there.

I have had their food twice now. Had pancit and lumpia the first time. This time I had the tocino, garlic fried rice, and spaghetti. Everything has been amazing. I especially love the tocino. I was in the Navy and we used to have it for breakfast on the galley lines. Their's is so good I will probably put it on every order I have from now on. Very excited to try everything on the menu. Thank you for bringing Filipino food to York!
