I wanted my cheese steak like the 1 my husband ordered except with chicken. I told the lady that when i ordered and she rang it up wrong as a golden cheese steak which has different topings; as i told her that i was confused when she rang it up. Walking into Marcello’s is like being teleported to the 1990’s. The menu sign is probably the same one they’ve had since they opened, and the restaurant looks and smells like your classic mom and pop pizza shop.
I only ordered a slice of cheese pizza as a snack, so I can’t speak for their whole menu. The slice was okay. The crust, a bit hard for my liking. The prices, although not from the 90’s, were very reasonable!

I started working downtown and visit this spot quite often for a quick lunch. They are always fast and efficient, and the staff is super friendly. The prices are good, and the food is always excellent!
