I ordered online for pick up at 5:30 p.m. at the Mt. Rose Ave. location. I get to the speaker told to hold for a moment. I am then told by one of the managers to pull up. I got up to the window at 5:30. He tells me the chicken isn't ready yet and that it would be 6-7 minutes yet and ask me to pull around by the front door. I sat there for 20 minutes and still no order was brought out. I decide to go in and wait another 10 minutes to be helped. Meanwhile my order was sitting on the shelf the whole time. I said that I waited out front for my order and it's just been sitting there, it's probably cold already. I double checked to see that everything I ordered was in the bag and luckily it was. I grabbed the bag and left. Also the manager looked right at me standing there and would not come over to help me. I will not return to this location.

Employees lack even basic knowledge that the average person should have.
Don't order the mac and cheese. It's not cajun style, and the only southern part about it is the burnt bake appearance. I didn't even order it, but it was given to me because my order was messed up. There was a strange chemical after taste to it, and it made me vomit as usual. This is the third time that I have tried the mac and cheese here and each time, it was absolutely disgusting. Popeyes need another recipe for their mac and cheese because it is awful. The chicken, chicken strips, mashed potatoes, biscuit, red Fanta, and red beans and rice is pretty good for fast food restaurant.

Good place to practice 3rd World haggling skills. If you ask for the total price, he will pause while he thinks about how much he can charge. His first step is to charge regular price instead of advertised promotional price. If you object then he pauses again to think of added fees such as a dollar extra for chicken breast.

Tonight, March 24th, while I was waiting for my order to be prepared—and the service is incredibly slow, by the way—the manager on duty was yelling at some Latinos in the kitchen, asking why they were speaking Spanish and saying it was America. I was shocked by the racism of this man, who, by the way, is from India—meaning, my brothers and sisters, you are also immigrants. What a tremendous lack of respect! I hope the owners take action.
