Point Prim Chowderhouse Reviews
Food is awesome! Best meal we had in the maritimes. No comparison to the subpar food in Alma, New Brunswick. Felt I got scammed there compared to the service and food here. Highly recommend.
Tastes good and the beach was wonderful: ultra-clean water and habitat for mussels.
The best seafood chowder we had on the island. Very rich, loaded with lots of seafood, and some smokey bacon. We ordered two to go, and it was enough for three as an appetizer/soup before a meal.
Nice place to have a meal.

The Point Prim Chowderhouse offers a delightful dining experience with its stunning, spectacular views, amazing food, and very casual outside dining. The restaurant caters to various dietary needs, including gluten-free options, and is generally accessible for wheelchair users, though the gravel driveway may pose some challenges. Visitors often recommend trying the clam and potato chowder, which is described as absolutely to die for and the best on P.E.I., and the lobster roll and lobster melt are highly praised for their hot buttered perfection and unbelievable flavors. The lobster/brie grilled cheese is also a favorite, and the seafood dishes are considered a true delight and very fresh. Guests enjoy sitting on Adirondack chairs on the rocks overlooking the ocean, making the experience even more memorable. The restaurant operates with a simple process—ordering at the window, receiving a buzzer, and waiting at a table for their meal with quick service. Overall, Point Prim Chowderhouse continues to impress with its great, good food, beautiful scenery, and wonderful location worth driving to.
