“I wish I could express the importance of how integral this visit was to our trip to PEI. Most of my friends (from British Columbia) that travelled here with me, did not understand the true meaning of having a fresh seafood dinner. It was not only good, it was emotional. The bonding over a table full of seafood puts things into perspective. When every bite is as it should be (to those who know it) and absolutely memorable and incredible (to those who never experienced). Thank you for keeping it real, and fresh. One of our trip highlights to PEI. By the way....get the seafood platter ?”

“As other posters have mentioned, this is an older restaurant and the décor shows it. Its kind of run down and musty smelling with banquet chairs and tables with folding legs. We decided to go based on the food reviews and called to make a reservation. It would seem this is a busy spot as on a Thursday night they only had room for us when they open at 5:00 pm. A little early for us but as we wanted to try this place, we ate early. We were waited on by Alexandrea and she was fantastic. Personable, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was excellent. As the portions looked large, my wife and I split the five course and three course dinners and it was plenty for the two of us. Chowder, salad, mussels, lobster and desert were all excellent. This place is a restaurant with great food and it actually is a bit of a PEI experience, so I would recommend going if on vacation in PEI. Many cheers ......................”

“Tried Bogside's "Proper Pub Ale" today, instead of my usual pint of Paint it Black, and I was not disappointed. The taste is spot-on - similar to London Pride. Absolutely brilliant - a big "well done" to the brewer. The new (to me) outdoor area was fantastic for the kids and dog.”

“Wow! Photos show 2 meals. Breakfast, and a lunch: a Cuban pulled pork and ham sandwich. Can’t say enough. Every single thing on the plate was a surprise. Shredded potatoes! Where do you ever see these any more? Perfectly grilled. Plump juicy maple sausage. Crispy bacon and eggs, perfectly done. The Cuban sandwich was a taste explosion. Absolutely delicious: every bite. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy, and the dip they provided was homemade and you could taste the difference. Our server was working alone, but was attentive and cheerful - thank you! We’ve been to too many restaurants lately where overworked staff made us feel like we were a bother and an interruption, not a valued customer. Oh! And reading the owner/chef’s story on the back page of the menu made the dining experience very special. Stop in here! You’re not going to find better food anywhere on the island. Pass by the fast food outlets and support this small business. You’ll be so glad you did.”

“It was the venue for our after running race party...Freeze your Gizzard. Perfect spot and atmosphere to be at after a race. I got the fish tacos which were delicious ?. As you can see, a really big portion. The fries were delicious also.”

“Was excited to get to the copper bottom for the first time and the experience started off pretty rocky. Lineup was pretty long (good thing to be busy) and we had pre picked out food and bevies based on the menu.The flatbreads were 2/3 out of stock as well as another pot pie. And two drinks also listed were not there.After a quick five minute wait we were delivered our meat pot pie and veggie pot pie. However we discovered they were both meat. So we re-ordered the veggie pie again (to which I heard the server repeat the order to the kitchen). Another five minutes later the pie arrived and it was meat! So my veggie wife was not very pleased but good thing she checked. Third attempt worked and the pies were all around delicious (only ordered because flatbreads were sold out).Somebody else came and apologized and they comp’Ed the extra pies.Drinks were great, food was great and we had a nice view partially overlooking the river. Three stars but wait staff tried so hard to make it better I had to go with 4 stars.I would recommend it still because my trip was an atypical one. But do remember to check your food before taking a bite (especially if you’re a vegan or vegetarian)!Vegetarian options: When flatbreads are sold out you have a veggie pot pie option that’s decent.”

“The bread is soft and cheaper than the processed loafs sold in every convince store and grocers, their muffins, brownies, chocolate macaroon cookies (A.K.A spider cookies), cup cakes are all amazing I'm sure even the banana loaf is good though I'm not a fan of bananas so can't say I've tried it. In the 3 to 4 years since I've met Kent the owner when he is making the deliveries throughout the province store to store I can say without a doubt he is one of the nicest people that I have had the pleasure of meeting. He always makes it a point to stop talking and listen to what the other person is saying without continuing to talk over that person or jumping to conclusions about what is being said to him. Something very few people can say they truly take the time to listen and take advice which is given instead of thinking of yourself as better than everyone else and knows better than others which is 1 the the main things which has stood out in the times I've chatted with him who is someone I consider a friend even if it's few and far between we get to chat but I know he will remember my name and take the time to come say hi and see how life's going. Wish more people were as hard working as Kent Myers is and that is big reason the products Kent's company bakes daily are top of the line. If you haven't had the chance to try Montague Bakery's baked goods swing down to most convince stores around the island as any of the good ones who support local businesses will have him in stock.”

The people at this location are AMAZING, and go above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. I love starting my day off with tge rays of sunshine that work there. Great way to start your Day. “Since the new owners have taken over the food quality at Dynasty has improved drastically. The way the chicken balls now are actually more meat just one of the differences, my dream would be to have vegetables mixed in with the rice but one can only dream but seriously best Chinese food in Eastern PEI especially with the new owners you will not regret it”

“The service was great, the food was good too. Good portions. The small nachos filled a plate, and i had leftovers. Wings are really good too. The only reason I gave a 4 on the atmosphere is because it was really cold. Regardless, I'll still be back!”

“Warm, relaxing and inviting atmosphere created by excellent low-level lighting. I dislike bars that are lit up like a Christmas tree with obnoxious flourescents. “This spot always attract me to get my food for several reasons. Firstly, fresh ingredients. Secondly, customer service and lastly, speed of service is excellent. I have seen a thin guy and little tall made my sandwich very fast I have never seen anybody making my sandwich in this speed. Perfect place to get sandwiches.”

“Absolutely our favorite Mexican place to eat when traveling to Los Angeles. The service is always excellent and the quality of food outstanding. We introduced family to it this trip and they loved it as well. Highly recommend the Al pastor tacos. We wish they would expand to Nevada.”
