It’s a great pub. I saw Dave Gunning there this month and the jazz on Sunday 3 to 5pm is amazing. I am now a regular. Food and drink is good and service is exceptional.
Copper bottom is a fantastic place to eat and drink. Sara C is one of the best servers you could ever ask for. So thankful to have a great place and great people close to home.

Copper Bottom Brewing is a lively spot with a great view of the river. The atmosphere is welcoming, with live jazz on Sundays and a nice patio that allows guests to enjoy the outdoors. While service can sometimes be inconsistent, the friendly staff always tries to make things right. The menu offers vegetarian options like veggie pot pies and flatbreads, although availability can be limited, so it’s best to double-check your order. When in stock, the food is delicious, with highlights such as creamy spinach dip, cheesy potato and onion handpies, and flavorful curried chickpea handpies. The brewery features excellent acoustics for live shows and a beautiful terrace, making it a great place to relax. Visitors have enjoyed a flight of beers, including some new options like mussels, and appreciate the brewery’s year-round opening. The Czech Pils has been praised as superb, and the beer selection is often noted as some of the best on the island. The staff is quirky and friendly, creating a perfect brewpub atmosphere. Guests have also appreciated that they can bring their dogs to the patio, where staff ensures they have ice water on hot days. Despite some minor hiccups, Copper Bottom Brewing remains a great place to visit, offering delicious food, good service, and a cozy atmosphere.
