“Great food right across the bridge on PEI! They had an amazing gluten free bun and great fries. My partner had the lobster bun and loved it. Very friendly service but you do order at the bar, take your drinks back etc. would be back!”

“Love these outdoor ice cream places where you walk up to a window to order! Even better, the ice cream was really great. We tried their coconut cream soft serve flavor and it tasted like a coconut cream pie. Also tried their vanilla soft serve with salted caramel dip. The ice cream was creamy and the dip had sea salt in it so you get a nice salt crunch when you bite into it. It's not really salty though so don't worry. The prices were good for the amount of ice cream you got too as a bonus. Once you get your ice cream there is also a clean picnic seating area behind the building. It's also a fun place to get some pictures with some of the props (think giant milkshake...) they have there. Overall, this place was great. Judging by the lineups, on a less than busy boardwalk, I think other people also thought it too. Definitely worth a visit! If not for ice cream, they also have a killer waterfront view. ?

Parking: They also have extra parking available at the building behind them.

Kid-friendliness: It's an ice cream place so it is definitely kid friendly! They have a colorful seating area behind the building. Lots of kids options on the menu with toppings kids will love (i.e. gummy worms and more!)”

“The waitress (Ella I think) was great and friendly, and the burger love burger was delicious; but the food service was very slow. We came in before the lunch rush at 11:40. It took 45 mins to get our burgers and others who sat down after we ordered got their food first. I also sent a private message first and it was not replied to. Please improve, and give that waitress a raise.⭐️⭐️”

“We ordered the fish platter and 2 piece fish and chips. Fish had a light batter, great taste not greasy and huge portions. Hand cut fries massive amount and coleslaw. Excellent! Best I have had in PEI in past three years. Seafood platter was excellent as well and had fish, bacon wrapped scallops, breaded scallops, shrimp, bar clams and clam strips as well as hand cut fries. Massive amount of food all well done. Highly recommend you try it!”

“This restaurant has great architecture like Qing dynasty era gate when you enter the restaurant seats but the food was delicious but it was not 100% autentic as chinese restaurants always add a bit of spice to the food to eat. This restaurant would be the best to visit in the spring as they would have a medium number of crowd then.”

“Stop in for lunch, had the Sweet and Sour chicken ball platter which came with Wonton Soup, EggRoll , and chicken fried rice , the wonton soup was amazing the best I have had in awhile, egg roll the same, best I have had since the old Canton Cafe nice and crispy with a very tasty filling, chicken balls and rice were average but fresh will definitely be back 😊”

The ingredients were crisp, the bread was warm, and the cookie? Divine. I got the classic Italian BMT and it tasted like hope. Clean tables, spotless counters, and a soda machine that actually worked—this place is a beacon of order in a town that clearly has supernatural issues.

Bonus points for the vibe: cozy, calm, and not haunted. I sat by the window, watched the world go by, and felt my soul slowly return to my body.

If you’re in Kensington and need a break from cursed mansions and mosquito battalions, this Subway is your safe zone. Five stars, no hesitation.”
