Ichiban Kimchi & Sushi

This place is absolutely delicious and very affordable! They have a huge variety of sushi, soups, and many other dishes to choose from. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. The staff is amazing—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for great food and excellent service!

Excellent sushi and outstanding service! We ordered takeout by phone and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they truly made our day with their positive attitude. The sushi was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We ordered a sushi platter and were pleasantly surprised that every piece included fish. Many places fill their platters with vegetable rolls, but that was not the case here. The portions were generous, and everything tasted amazing. Highly recommended! 🍣

I come here almost every month because the food is so excellent, the staffs is fine, service is fine, but the cook (I think the Korean man in the kitchen) and the woman (also Korean, with glasses) is super super nice! I highly recommend you guys try the Jaeyuk (warning: spicy), my sister and I always order that every visit!!!

We ate at Ichiban Kimchi & Sushi and the food was amazing but the service was even better. Everyone there was super polite and welcoming.

We asked if they sold cake since our foreman was celebrating his birthday. They didn't have any but they generously gave us banana ice cream dessert on the house instead. Such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it.

Thanks again for the awesome service — we'll definitely be back!

We have been here multiple times and the food is always good, both Korean dishes and sushi. Good service and everyone is very welcoming.
Other bad reviews say that they don't have good service which actually comes from the language barrier. They now have staffs who speak English fluently, so the service has improved!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. We were a group of 4 and decided to try the grill option alongside some sushi. The staff were incredibly kind and the food was absolutely amazing. I cannot thank them enough for how hospitable they were, we felt so spoiled.

The kimchi was the best I’ve ever had and we loved all the appetizers that came with our food. I 110% recommend this restaurant to everyone, we will be returning every time we visit Charlottetown from now on.
