Large brewery on the outskirts of Charlottetown.
Besides having tons of seating, they have ping pong tables, foosball, and even a Nintendo hooked up to an old-school tube TV.
The beers were all solid but nothing stood out as exceptional, hence my 4 rating.
They offer flights of four tasters and they have plenty of cans for carry out.
If I lived on PEI, I would definitely hang out here with my peeps. If you arrive by cruise ship, it's a decent cab ride to get to PEI Brewery and many of the bars downtown carry their beer, so you may want to keep your bar crawl within city limits.
But if you make the trek, the staff is friendly and they have a great selection of beer.
We were there last night for thr Fabulously Rich concert with our 6 friends. Made table reservations, sat at a table and waited. And waited, it's not like there wasn't staff there, they were busy getting ready for the event, granted, but I've never seen anything quite like this. 1 server would walk over from the bar, take 1 tables' order and leave. Their wne and bar shots were nowhere on the drink menues, nothing was explain, what a shit show.....The staff weren't wearing staff shirts, all different clothes, black t-shirts that look like they were slept in. Then an other server would come over, take an order and leave, there were only 5 tabkes!!! It's like it was the first day this place was open. Food was good and fast, but you have to flag the servers down, dirty plates were left for over an hour after we asked a staff member to take them. They were only interested in glasses. We will not make the mistake of booking a night in their cafeteria style venue again.
Stopped in for a pint and poutine. Great beer and fries. Will stop again.
Nice quiet afternoon atmosphere, tasting of 4 beers. Friendly staff.
We had a fantastic experience doing the brewery tour with Brody and learning about the "science" (he'll get the joke.... but truly it was awesome).
We had the Blueberry Ale and Beach Chair lager and also tried a delicious cucumber/lime seasonal beer.
A wonderful afternoon, a must-visit for anyone coming to Charlottetown!
Staff are always friendly! Great place to grab beer when nearby. The Blueberry Ale is an absolute must try!
Ordered a salad had maybe a half handful of lettuce, little to no dressing and a few pieces of bacon. Paid $11 in expectancy for this to be my dinner. Wish I could upload a photo, u can see half of the bottom of the takeout container there’s such a small serving. Quite dissatisfied.
Food was great! We had the burger and meat trio pizza; the pizza was 10/10. Staff was great and very friendly. The playlist matched the vibe and the overall experience was A1. We’ll be back!
A great place to catch up with friends.
Dropped in last week and they had an English Brown on tap which was very well done, great to see a brewery offering this classic.

Brilliant!
I had a flight with the 1772 IPA, Blueberry Ale, Honey Wheat and Beach Chair. They were all good but my absolute favorite was the Beach chair Lager. I also had their 1772 IPA Smokey BBQ wings. They are the best wings I've had. They weren't overcooked, but still crispy and the sauce was delicious. It was sweet with just the right amount of Smokey flavor. I paired it with the Blueberry ale and it was very good.
Great venue for concerts, weddings ect... Really nice building and staff. Not a lot of parking but other then that it was great.
Closed half the time with the lights on and doors open. Will let you walk up to counter with beer then tell you they're closed. SKETCHY AND UNRELIABLE. BUY YOUR BEER ELSEWHERE.
Nice atmosphere. Food from most Murphy's restaurants are cooked sub par and not locally sourced ingredients. Why when it's so accessible?
