Our group of four enjoyed our dinner here. The food was excellent, as was the service. Having free underground parking in the winter, was nice as well.
Food was excellent from starter to dessert and service was fantastic, we will be back so keep up the great work
We had the prime rib and mashed potatoes. It was really delicious. Outstanding! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Water's edge is a lovely restaurant but unfortunately our meals were not the quality you would expect. I had the halibut and it was very dry and overcooked. The flavours did not mesh well either. The main course for the ret of the table were not a good as expected either. The crab dip appetizer and apple crumble dessert were very good though. The ambience was lovely and so was our server which was appreciated. We just wish the food quality matched the prices.
Our group of seven enjoyed excellent food and service in the beautiful, newly renovated restaurant! Meals included salmon, fish & chips and fish tacos with greek salad. We will be back!
Server Cheryl was excellent. Was very knowledgeable with the menu and more. The only negative was the coffee when served with our dessert. It was very-very strong and I said that to Cheryl. She said it was Starbucks coffee. That's why it was very-very strong. I never liked Starbucks. Cheryl gave us 1 X $4 credit for one coffee.
We really wish we could say it was better and maybe it was not great because of new staff or because their new menu launch party was happening in the bar but we can't. Five of us dined, we were waiting on menus/drinks, food arrived cold when it did arrive. We are locals and want to support so maybe they will improve over time based on our assumptions. We will say the mushroom tart was delicious but it came with a massive mound of mashed potatoes. Try a side salad with it instead.
Came twice during my hotel stay — Nadia has been amazing both times!! I came back because of here. She’s super friendly, gives great recommendations, and makes you feel so comfortable. Also, her espresso martini is hands down the best I’ve had in PEI! She honestly goes above and beyond. Give this girl a raise!

I think this place forgot they are also a restaurant.
They forgot our drinks for over 30m and the apps we split were just frozen food.

Every time I visit Charlottetown, I make sure to eat here. I have only ever had delicious meals. This time, I returned for breakfast. The potatoes are so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! The omelet was satisfying and tasty. Chloe was a wonderful server, so kind and personable. Definitely a hidden gem.

TLDR: Just go somewhere else. Plenty of awesome places to eat around here!
The rest of the reviews sum this place up pretty well, unfortunately. Not many people but it took a while to get food. Burger was cooked well done and chewy, but had some sorta okay flavors. The fries were very tasty, but I think I have PEI to thank for that. The lobster roll was subpar and way too creamy, as well as the potato salad. Also, the bar was full of trash, dirty glasses and other junk, not great to look at. Server was friendly though.

Picked this place because I thought the cuisine and service would be above par at a Delta Hotel . Disappointed. My wife and I ordered tagliatelle with seafood. Fettuccine came instead. My wife found the squid bitter. I found the pasta very dry. (Probably didn’t reserve some pasta water). Wasn’t offered cracked pepper or parmesan . I had to ask for a glass to drink my bottle of beer. Needed a magnifying glass to find the seafood. A disappointing meal for my last night in Charlottetown.

Absolutely do not come here until the renovations are complete. I felt like I was eating in a hospital cafeteria. The staff were wonderful but the atmosphere sucked big time. Call before booking. I will come back--but not when the renovations are ongoing.
