7 Best Seafood Restaurants near North Rustico

“Ok!!! Let me start by saying that we had a mixed group of 15 individuals from Ontario, Montreal, Halifax, Fredericton and NL. There was a mix up in a reservation (we were at wrong restaurant lol) and there was no space inside. The girls there, manager I believe suggested a small place on their deck where they put up a wall for us to block any wind, which was great and beautiful at the same time having an exceptional view of the water. Ok, so now 15 people how quickly and good will food be. These waitresses were like nothing we have ever seen, worked together, drinks came fast with smiles. Appetizers came shortly there after and then the mains, near perfect timing. Then the food! No question, best muscles I have ever had in my life and I’ve ate a lot of muscles!! The fish cakes, the lobster Mac and cheese, the salads, unreal!! I hope whoever owns this place appreciates and realizes the great staff they have, because they were perfect in every way and same for the chefs.. We have all ate in lots of restaurants and this is a must if you’re heading to North Rustico, you won’t be disappointed!!! “We visited Pedro's Island Eatery recently and were warmly greeted by Myla, co-owner and wife of the chef, who remembered us from previous summer visits. We ordered Beef Shank in a red wine espagnole sauce which the chef told me is his favorite style of cooking. Exceptional depth of flavor and perfectly tender and delicious. My wife enjoyed pasta Alfredo with salmon two ways, smoked and grilled and is still talking about the dish 2 weeks later. The food here reflects a European style and the culinary excellence of a master chef.“

“Great tasting lobster and steak. Very clean atmosphere and massive dinning area with so so much seating!! The buffet was big and delicious with plenty of different options. Too many desserts to stay skinny hahaha Highly highly recommend this eatery!“

“Went with my family to The Lost Anchor and had the greatest experience. Our waitress was absolutely lovely, the food was DELICIOUS and hot! Both my children ate their ENTIRE meals!! The atmosphere was great and the bathrooms were clean. It was a hidden gem and I’m so glad we stopped! Would highly recommend ordering the cajun alfredo pasta… and the kids mac & cheese was to die for!! Will definitely be back!“

“Stopped by for a quick bite on a cross-Canada tour. These people are truly a treasure. They even came out to the very pleasant grassy picnic area outside the restaurant to greet our dog. So welcoming. So special - plus the food was awesome!“
