“My wife and I were visiting the island and figured we’d grab breakfast at a local dine in restaurant, and chose Receiver Coffee - The Brass Shop. SO GLAD we did! WOW wow wow wow wow! The food was DELICIOUS and the coffee was amazing. The ONLY thing that topped the food was the HIGH QUALITY service we got from the young man that served us. One of the best…ever! Seriously one of our best dining experiences. Next drop over to the Island will definitely include a stop here!“

“I spent large amounts of time here during the May 7-13 2026 period. I would come in the morning from 8am until 9am, and then again in the late afternoon from 2:30PM until 4PM (always with my laptop in order to do some work).
For this entire period, I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service and work ethic of all staff.“
“We just left T-talks. My daughter got a Jumbo Passion Fruit Milk Tea and her friend got a Blue Diamond Tea. We were very impressed with the service and the girls really enjoy their drinks. The atmosphere was the CUTEST!“

“Grabbed lunch here with a couple of friends on Saturday afternoon and the lobster roll was easily the best I have had on the island this year. We ended up sitting on the patio and the view over the harbour made the wait for a table totally worth it. Our server kept checking in without being annoying and even talked us into splitting the seafood chowder as a starter, which was a great call. Parking was a bit tight nearby but honestly nothing about this meal disappointed us.“

“I had a really good experience in this location. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and my order was prepared quickly and correctly. The coffee tasted fresh, and everything was nicely presented. The place was clean and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax for a bit. I’ll definitely be coming back!“
