“My wife and I were visiting the island and figured we’d grab breakfast at a local dine in restaurant, and chose Receiver Coffee - The Brass Shop. SO GLAD we did! WOW wow wow wow wow! The food was DELICIOUS and the coffee was amazing. The ONLY thing that topped the food was the HIGH QUALITY service we got from the young man that served us. One of the best…ever! Seriously one of our best dining experiences. Next drop over to the Island will definitely include a stop here!“

“We just left T-talks. My daughter got a Jumbo Passion Fruit Milk Tea and her friend got a Blue Diamond Tea. We were very impressed with the service and the girls really enjoy their drinks. The atmosphere was the CUTEST!“

“I spent large amounts of time here during the May 7-13 2026 period. I would come in the morning from 8am until 9am, and then again in the late afternoon from 2:30PM until 4PM (always with my laptop in order to do some work).
For this entire period, I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service and work ethic of all staff.“

“This was a real find, though really easy to find. It is a quiet oasis is a busy tourist zone. Real food, made with care and love. The menu is mostly simple classics, like burgers, sandwiches and breakfasts, with a couple Arabian specialties added in.
We tried a Sfeeha, a beef dumpling, that was delicious, and a new experience for us.
next was:
Egg salad sandwich: perfectly made on lightly toasted bread, nicely chilled egg salad with celery, and super crispy iceberg lettuce. Best we have had away from home.
Cheeseburger: old school hand-made patty, juicy with a nice smash crust, on a potato bun with a couple cold tomato slices and some perfectly chilled iceberg lettuce, again. A nice surprise was some nice caramelized onions on top of the patty. Really delicious…and a burger that could be eaten with one hand, a rare thing these days.
Yes, the portions are smaller than what you see these days at chain restaurants, so if you want to be grossly over fed, this might not be your place. The prices are also lower and commensurate with portion sizes..
It is also quiet and calm, and tastefully decorated, just like the service there.

“the friendliest tim's on the island!! at other stores, i've had so many experiences with workers being totally blank faced and speaking as little as possible, but the workers here are super friendly! they always greet with a smile that actually feels genuine, engage in conversation, and just overall are really hospitable!“

“I ordered a Bailey’s cold brew with the Bailey’s cold foam. It is delicious! I went through the drive thru, and though it was busy, it was fast.
Vegetarian options: Most of their stuff comes with the vegetarian option.
Dietary restrictions: They will make your food the way you ask.
Parking: They have a small section of a large parking lot. Spaces close the to store are hard to get, but there is lots of other parking if you’re willing to walk.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs, there is a ramp into the building, and automatic door buttons further back from the door.“

“This McDonald's location was pretty busy when I visited which was lunch time. There was still some parking available when I visited. But the drive thru line was extremely long. Inside was also busy probably due to mostly students visiting. Food quality was good and service was pretty fast. I would visit this McDonald's location again if I was in the area and looking to get something from McDonald's“
