We came across this place by chance and wanted to sit outside although it was busy we managed to get a table. Staff were nice and we were served quickly. We both decided on chicken kebabs, one satay and one spicy. Huge platefuls with nice dipping sauces. We enjoyed the food so much we returned for a second meal during the week. This time we ordered a fish and chips and a sole. Again a good plateful of food which was very nice. Reasonable prices so worth a visit.
Called a cafe but so much more. We ate here twice during our 10 day holiday in Alvor. Sunday 22nd October was a rainy day but we ventured out and they welcomed us in. Traditional Portuguese food served and even though we were all crammed inside due to the weather conditions they did their best to accomodate all comers. So many places were closed or only serving roast lunches.
We were a bit squashed in the corner of this restaurant but it was worth it as the food was so good. I had a salad with king prawns in a marie rose sauce, with sliced avocado and sliced mango on top of what seemed like half a lettuce there was so much. It was also served with baby tomatoes, grated carrots, onions and sprinkled with a variety of seeds. It was absolutely delicious. The avocado and mango were perfectly ripe.
