“Lucky move! Highly recommended! Currently a bit hidden due to construction work, but it's worth the search! It's better to reserve as it's quite small. We ate the prawn risotto (absolute highlight) and enjoyed delicious wine with it. The service was outstanding and very on point. Wiki, our waiter was very courteous and multilingual. Great cuisine, keep it up!“

“Very delicious Italian food. We had a Portuguese bottle of wine, bruschetta appetizer, pizza, and gnocchi, with tiramisu and panna cotta for desserts. Everything was very delicious. Reservations are needed as it is very small and cozy environment. Only thing that could be improved on is our service, we had to flag down our waiter multiple times during our meal, but overall great experience!“

“De lekkerste pasta die ik ooit heb gegeten . Ik had de pasta met truffel (tajarin). De smaken zo verfijnd, pasta perfect bereid, verse parmezaan, aan tafel gemalen… het was werkelijk verrukkelijk. Prijzen zijn alleszins redelijk in relatie tot de kwaliteit. Lekkere wijnen en extreem vriendelijke service. 100% aanrader ??“

“Very attentive service. Surprisingly, it was also possible to choose two different tasting menus and wine accompaniments at the table for two. This was also managed logistically without any problems. The connection to classic Portuguese cuisine is there, modern interpretation and very solid courses, if a little unsurprising. The wine accompaniment is very well matched to the courses and goes perfectly with the food. Personally, the wines don't offer enough drinking pleasure for me, as many are orange/in the oxidative spectrum and I almost miss out on freshness and drinking fun“

“This is a "small" restaurant in the heart of Lisbon with a focus on an informal atmosphere and diverse food, especially to share. The food is very good, tasty, and unpretentious. They have a very LARGE range of options in wines. The staff is very nice and accessible. The prices are... Ok... In our case we paid 45eur per person with drinks and desserts. Very good option!“

“The staff is very friendly and helpful and the decor is welcoming. We had 7 different dishes and all were amazing, the mix of flavours and ideas ended up being very tasty! The desserts were also great, in my opinion the best place to eat in Bairro Alto. And they have a rooftop bar as well, with great signature cocktails and a view to the city“

“Currys are tasty. The spice level is great. The sieces of the dishes are not much constant. The currys are in okay siece but the rice too less. The naan could be bigger for that price and the lassis are good again. All together we can really recommend this restaurant and the food. But while ordering maybe you should decide, if the base is rice and order more or mix with naan bread.AND spice levers are great ?“

“There is a buffet at lunch and dinner. I was here at lunchtime. There was a warm soup, 5 warm dishes and 2 warm side dishes (rice and ?). Various salads and olive oil / yoghurt mayo dressing. The buffet price does not include drinks or desserts. I also had cheesecake. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Prices are cheap. Great attention is paid to cleanliness. It's probably well attended by locals, but it's still not too crowded. Service friendly. Toilet available.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan.“

“Great food but the service was a little uptight; expected better wine collection for the place known for wines. And they have 2 locations right next to each other - one has a better vibe than other (if they allow you to pick! - they didn’t let us even though seats were available!). Food is great though!“

“What a magical night! We had the tasting menu and tried the green wine and also the pelluda (white wine). Both refreshing and delicious. The tasting menu was fantastic. Each dish was so artfully presented and there were so many delicious flavors. The food was so thoughtfully prepared. Our server, David, took such good care of us. Highly recommend this place❤️❤️❤️“

“Wow! I loved the seasonal rice dish!! It gave me pilaf vibes and was cooked to perfection. I had been eating so much meat/fish that it was so great to find a place that offered high quality vegetarian dishes. I wish I could go back and eat more right now... but if you get a chance while visiting Lisbon, PLEASE grab a meal and a glass of wine here.“

“We saw this restaurant on the Everybody Feed Phil show on Netflix and made reservations in advance since it's very small with limited seating. If you are a foodie and love unique flavors this is a must visit. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful in ordering. We had the Holy Burgers, Chamucas, Cafreal De Frango, Sarapatel and Daal. For dessert we had the Doce de Chocolate (amazing) and the Chamuca Tamra con Gelado. My favorites were the Chamucas and the Holy Burgers. The flavor combinations were so unique. One of our best meals in Portugal! Our total bill for 4 people with drinks was 117 Euros.“

We took brunch package both of us, and I was not sure if I would manage to eat it all, but I did, since everything was delicious ?Package included ?+granola + eggs/pancakes dish of choice +☕️+juice.“

“Came out of the tile museum and were looking for a place for lunch. What a find! At first wasn’t sure if it was open.. but went through to the out door seating in the courtyard. Fantastic food… owner and a cook do a few items for the day and when it’s gone, they close. Missed getting the quiche.. but had delicious vegetable lasagna. Both meat and vegetable options. “The croissants here are possibly the best I’ve ever had anywhere before. They’re so delicious! We got some ham and cheese croissants and a chèvre, figs, and honey and they were both perfect, they really hit the spot. It all almost falls apart in your mouth. The space is cute and the staff was friendly. This was on my list to try when visiting Lisbon and I’m so glad I was able to squeeze it in on my travels.“

“I wanted to love this, but it didn’t live up to expectations and wasn’t as good as other Portugal restaurants. The razor clams were exceptional. But, the rest of the food, despite looking beautiful, didn’t really match the price tag. The atmosphere / fit out is lovely.“

“After a short 15 min wait we were greeted with a wonderful glass of white wine and escorted to our table. The food is amazing! Our family had the octopus, pork cheeks, duck leg, cod with some delicious appetizers, the wood oven baked bread with Portuguese cheese and chirouzo and some Tinto Blanco. Highly recommend if you are near the Alfama area.“

“Very good cuisine which still has its price! €28.95 for a plate of octopus (whole)! €5 for a glass of verde wine. €6 for chocolate mousse. And 2.20 for the café crème. All the same! Not really a popular restaurant on a street, not very inviting. The fish is offered by weight, we show it to you raw for approval of the weight and price. Original. To do on a serious budget.“

“Super good little neighborhood restaurant where you can pay by credit card. It doesn't look like much at first glance and yet, you eat really well there for cheap. Special mention for the salmon, potatoes/salad 14€ and ribs, fries/rice 13€. The portions are generous and the prices are low, it's worth the cost“

“Manifest Lisbon is a brunch lover's paradise, and our recent visit there was nothing short of fantastic. We arrived at 9 AM on a Friday and were seated immediately, well before the morning rush. By 10 AM, the place was bustling, with a line forming out the door, which speaks volumes about its popularity. The menu offerings were exceptional. We indulged in Portuguese style eggs, fluffy pancakes paired with eggs and bacon (the bacon was wonderfully soft, just how I like it), and potato pancakes accompanied by a side of bacon. Every dish was well-executed, displaying both skill and attention to detail. Plus, the servings are generously big—we all ate half and happily took the remainder home for lunch. For drinks, the Matcha latte was authentically bitter, which I appreciated, though you might want to ask for sugar if that's your preference. The Green Detox smoothie was a revelation—infused with ginger that enhanced rather than overpowered, making it something I could enjoy every day.The café itself boasts a chic, dark decor with a smart layout. Inside, there are only three large tables, but smaller tables for two can be cleverly combined to accommodate larger groups. There's also outdoor seating available, adding to the charm.Overall, Manifest Lisbon delivers a superb dining experience with its delightful food and vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch brunch in Lisbon!“

“This restaurant was the favorite for many people on the Portugal trip. A friend had been here before and raved about the octopus, so we had high expectations (that were met). Our group of 8 swung by around 7pm on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant is too small to seat 8, so we split into two groups of 4. The first group was able to be seated immediately; the second group needed to wait about 10 minutes.- Mixed salad, 5 Euros. Nice big bowl of mixed greens, shredded carrots, tomato wedges, and sliced onions. They give you bottles of olive oil and vinegar.- Grilled sardines, 16 Euros. Comes with 4 sardines and vegetables. I didn't eat the sardines (I think small fish are too much work), but the vegetables were so tasty.- Octopus with garlic & olive oil, 21 Euros. SENSATIONAL. This lived up to the hype. Most octopus I've had is tough, but this full octopus is tender from mid-body all the way to the tentacles.- Fish of the day, 19 Euros. Our fish was the sea bass. Tender and flaky.- Grilled salmon, 16.50 Euros. Juicy, with delectably seared skin.- Bolo bolacha (biscuit cake), 5 Euros. This was advertised to us as a Portugese tiramisu. The coffee flavor is not as strong, the cake is not as soaked, and there's less whipped cream, all of which I liked!- Red fruits cheesecake, 5 Euros. The filling is whipped and creamy, not dense like a NY style cheesecake. Delicious.Ask for their piri piri sauce. It burns immediately, and it's delightful. Our server was delightful. Card accepted. Get the octopus, fish, and bolo bolacha!“

“Three of us had our most memorable dinner in 5 nights in Lisbon at this small restaurant tucked away on a small street in the Alfama neighborhood. (It’s easy to miss the doorway.). What a find! We started our meal with wine (there is a lovely collection here), sheep’s cheese, a vegetarian puff pastry similar to an Indian samosa, and shrimp fritters. They were all excellent. Two of us ordered duck as the main dish; I ordered grilled octopus. The duck was served sliced and was very moist - cooked perfectly!- best duck any of us have ever eaten. The grilled octopus was very lightly seasoned at my request and also cooked extremely well. We chose mashed sweet potatoes with fennel as one of our sides. For dessert, try the peanut pie and almond cake (which was a bit soft and gooey - very unusual). What a wonderful restaurant to discover the last night of our trip!!“

“We really enjoyed the plant-based experience!Although all the dishes are good, if it weren't for the fork fest the bill would be "too much".It also went better because we were the first to arrive, because when it starts to fill up the service becomes very slow. The restaurant has a small grocery store that follows the concept and ends up being part of the decor and is very interesting. The balance was very positive.“

“Atmospheric place next to the cathedral. We tried several snacks: Linguica (5.90€), Farinheira (8.10€), Tabbouleh (6.90€), Bering. Gratinada (5.80€) and two dishes: Alheira con grelos (12.50€) and Tiborna Bacalhau (14.30€). All of them were tasty, very aesthetically presented, but Tiborna Bacalhau is not worth the price because the portion of cod on two slices of bread is "microscopic".There are not many tables in the restaurant, but in the evening you have to wait quite a long time to order.“

The total was €94.50.The burgers are a good size and there are 3 side options: potato chips, sticks or sweet potato sticks (this option adds €0.75).The flour balls are tasty and a reasonable size. The vegetarian balls are quite hard on the outside. As I'm not used to this type of balls, I don't know if they're all like this or if they could be better. There are 3 good options in the restaurant:- Children's menu, which includes 2 natural mini burgers and a juice, for €6- cocktail menu, which includes a burger and cocktail for €11- Gutsy Burger, which offers 3 giant 480g burgers to be shared by 4 people, for €19.90.I consider desserts to be relatively expensive. €2 for something that looked like the size of 2 to 3 stacked Oreo cookies.Regarding parking (paid), and depending on the time, it can be a little more difficultVegetarian options: The menu offers 1 starter and 4 vegetarian dishesWheelchair accessibility: Establishment on ground floor without steps“
