We will definitely come back, and it is an awesome place to bring your Madeira visitors.The owner was really great about making a wine recommendation, and the charcuterie board was perfeito! “Poncha one of the best we tried in Madeira! All flavors are delicious, except English tomato (I do not recommend this one). It's a small place on the corner, crowded, so it's hard to get a table in the evening, but you can take a drink in a paper cup to go. Affordable prices, great taste!”

“I was absolutely delighted to eventually find this unassuming and welcoming little restaurant. It is hidden away so use Maps once you are in the heart of Funchal. Great unpretentious food with two dishes of the day and a juice of the day. Warm and friendly staff and a joy to find that most, if not all, of the food us now fully vegan. You need to go there- you won't regret it 😊”

“It is a place to drink craft beers, which has little more than three dishes (quesadillas, tacos and burritos) if you want to have dinner, but they are amazing and are more than enough (without accompaniments that in the end you always end up leaving, such as potatoes or salad).

Very quiet atmosphere at 8pm, although I suppose it goes on for days. It is a sports bar type place, so it is not for families with children, we did go with two teenagers.

I will repeat for sure before I leave.

“Excellent food, particularly recommend the chana masala. Several mains are clearly indicated as vegan, and there are a few more unlabelled (eg some starters, etc). Staff made sure to not bring yogurt sauce after we inquired about vegan food, I’m unsure if they automatically do this when ordering vegan dishes.”

None of the desserts can be made vegan however they kindly whipped us up a chocolate mousse with red fruits, it was delicious. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. “It's a nice little restaurant with some tables inside and outside. Staff is very friendly. As others wrote: ask for the vegan menu. Staff made sure to tell me what was vegan and what wasn't when it came to the free things they give you: first you'll get some papadam with 2 sauces (only the mango one is vegan) and then you get sth else (no clue what it was) that was serviced with dry ice = interesting experience. We ordered the pakora for starters and 2 curries as well as some bread with it. Including two drinks we paid about 50 euros. Would go again, nice experience!”

“Small cozy place that serves italian food. It doesn't have any clearly vegan main dishes on the menu, but we asked if the vegetarian pizza could be made vegan by taking out the cheese. The pizza was served with a balsamic vinegar on top instead of the cheese, and it was amazing.”
