“I've never considered this a bar, but rather a place for a quick lunch or snack and a beer. Great food, always fresh and consistent quality. Summer is a bit crowded but what place isnt at that time? Come while at the beach and enjoy.

“We kwamen spontaan aanlopen maar het restaurant was vol. De eigenaar regelde een plek voor ons 5en voor een half uurtje later. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en veel vegan opties. Geen probleem om de boter op de naan weg te laten om het vegan te maken. We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Zeker een aanrader!”

“We had a great meal on our last night in the Azores. The entree was delicious with warm, crunchy tortilla chips, guacamole and dip sauce. The squid tacos were HOT! but great. Topped off with strawberry cream bonuelo morango & chocolate mouse. Overall we couldn’t fault any of the food & had a great experience. Very friendly, welcoming staff & extremely affordable.”

We finally got to eat in. The pizza was even better at the restaurant. Also had some excellent linguine w pesto. The owners make and serve the food and are very friendly. There are 4 small tables so make sure you call ahead.

All pizza shops around here were closed one day and we visited out of desperation. And boy are we glad we did. This is excellent pizza!!! ? We had take out and even after the drive home it was great. Can’t wait to go eat there soon.”

“This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Ponta Delgada. Cozy, great background music, well decorated. But the main reason I go there religiously since 2021 is the food and Leo and Vitor, the sushi chefs. They are great at their craft, and you will be served delicious food in no time. It's not a very big place, so if you are going for dinner it might be better to book a table in advance. Had no trouble so far getting tables for lunch, but then again I almost only go on weekdays. Supremely highly recommended”

“Real local genuine atmosphere with local stangastas, cheap beer and in the heart of Ponta Delgado. After a whole day of driving around the island, this is a well-deserved relaxation in the evening after dinner. If you're looking for luxury, you won't find it here.”

“If you are afraid it’s not enough, definitely try the large portion. I would recommend building your own bowl, so you can eat exactly what you want. Vegan protein options: tofu, vegetable balls, falafels - edamame counts as “greens”, not protein, but they have it too. You can choose from a great variety of greens, a few sauces (ask witch one is vegan, the teriyaki sure is) and a few crunchy toppings. My bowl was very tasty and compared to other poké bowls it was quite filling (I ordered the large one).”

“Good selection of cocktails & drinks - slightly more expensive. The view over the port of Ponta Delgada is recommended on a clear day, especially at sunset. Access is also possible as non-hotel guests.

“Very nice place. I love Guiness and it was the only place in Ponta delgada to have it. Feel like a real Irish pub but they speak Portuguese so its a very different experience. Overall its a good place the beer is not expensive and good. Will recommend.”

To finish we ordered a dessert of each and they were great, especially the grilled pineapple.
If it weren't for the fact that we have an early flight tomorrow, we would return for sure.”

The restaurant is run by a lovely & personable husband and wife team that you will be personally greeted by. Our table f 4 had soup, entree, dessert & plenty of wine all for under 100 Euros. Highly recommend ad can’t wait to go back. So many other things on the menu I want to try. Very quaint so I recommend making reservations.”
