About House of Wonders

House of Wonders offers delicious vegetarian food with beautiful presentation and several options to choose from. The restaurant has been running for 13 years, and the owner truly cares about the dining experience. The friendly and helpful staff serve exquisite dishes at reasonable prices. The menu changes daily and features what they call a visual menu, where guests are shown the food on a big table. This allows staff to explain each dish, including which ones are vegan or can be made vegan. While there may be a wait for food, the quality and home-style taste make it worth it. The colorful décor and cozy atmosphere, along with rooftop views, add to the charm of this pleasant and nicely decorated restaurant. Guests can sit outside on a partially covered veranda amongst hundreds of plants, enjoying a relaxing vibe. The menu includes dishes like shakshuka, praised for its rich sauce and fresh vegetables, as well as salads such as the happiness salad veganised. The focus on fresh, flavorful, and lovingly prepared food makes it highly recommended, especially for its great value in the city. The vibrant dishes, including a pumpkin sauce with noodles, vegetables, chickpeas, and black beans, are a highlight for many guests. Overall, House of Wonders truly embodies its name, making it a colorful and delightful dining destination.

So unique, no written menu. The food is all on display and the owner answers your questions. We tried the cauliflower herb soup, amazing. I had kind of a layered lasagna type dish that was amazing. My wife had a tower style portobello mushroom topped with other veggies. We shared a mango cheesecake that was superb

The place itself is so beautiful and colorful! The food is very good too! Just wish it was all vegan instead of vegetarian :)

This place is so colorful! Not only does the restaurant look colorful, but so does the food. The dishes contain a lot of different vegetables/fruits. The staff is friendly and explain which dishes are vegan or can be made vegan. All dishes looked tasty. I tried a dish based on a pumpkin sauce with noodles, vegetables, chickpeas and black beans. It was delicious! For me the only downside is the visual menu. But the food is delicious, staff is friendly and the vibe is great so really...read full review
