“The best Bar in Coimbra. In charming Coimbra, a cozy WineBar with great service from the owners! Don't forget to try a Beer 1906 and eat some appetizers prepared by Sandra or even listen to Sérgio's recommendation to enjoy a quality wine!“
“A “must do” in Coimbra! Pop in after a day of sight seeing for a fabulous glass of wine served by the owner, Abel! Don’t forget to order the shrimp toast for a snack and big enough to share! This is an amazing place to either get a bottle to go or to simply relax and enjoy a calm, relaxing & beautiful environment! We loved it and went back for more?“

“Local, frequented by locals, serving traditional Portuguese cuisine, although they also have original options.
I liked everything, but the cheese, walnut and honey puff pastry and the chilli prawns were the best.
Nice and clean place.
Normal price.“

“I visited this place a couple of months ago. I asked for the vegan francesinha. It consisted in layers of vegetables, no fake meats, and I really enjoyed the fact that the chef is just letting veggies shine. The bread was dark, thin and flavorful - this is clearly not an attempt to recreate a traditional francesinha. It's a different approach, innovative and I like the experimental character of what they are doing. The sauce was beautiful. Vegan cheese was nice. When I was finished I only wished there was more of it. Updated from previous review on 2026-02-06“
“Stopped in for a drink on way back from restaurant, friendly owner, quirky bar with great music. Serves drinks from a hatch and a small space inside, but of fun if you arenin a group, couple of seats outside for people watching. Four glasses of wine, two waters, 14.40.“

“Incredible!! Tavern with live Fado music, highly recommended. The place is hidden in one of the alleys of Coimbra, it is a very small but cozy restaurant. The food was very good and the service was fast and efficient. The show starts at 9:30 p.m., so they ask you to arrive around 8:30 p.m. if you want to have dinner. They advise you to reserve, since being small, they have few tables and it fills up quickly. We ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and some spaghetti carbonara (highly recommended). Regarding the Fado concert, without words. Everything is wonderful!! The "group" we heard had an incredible live performance, they even interacted with the audience, which made it even more special. Plus, it's pretty affordable. Dinner plus entry to the show cost us €50. Do not hesitate to come here to enjoy authentic Portuguese Fado while enjoying a cheap romantic dinner.“

“Essentially a vegetarian and vegan tapas restaurant, with all the vegan options clearly marked on the menu. The "tapas" portion size is BIG..so 3 or 4 is easily enough for 2 people. Friendly, personal, service. Reasonable prices for the amount of food 👍“

“A restaurant with a good presentation, very friendly staff and very good food.I think that sometimes there is an attempt to sell certain services, such as tickets and excessive “almost mandatory” water. The food is very good but the price is exaggerated for what we actually received.I recommend ordering at least one dessert due to its above average presentation.“

“This bar is excellent. The view of the river is spectacular and the atmosphere was very peaceful. I highly enjoyed my experience at the establishment. Manu was a great server who did a great job explaining the menu and catering to my groups needs. I recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great place to drink and hangout while they are staying or visiting Coimbra.“
