However, experiences can vary. One November evening, diners had to eat indoors due to the cold, and despite the beautifully presented interior, the atmosphere was somewhat subdued with only a respectful murmuration of conversations. Service was slow, with some drink orders forgotten and a confusing situation regarding the sea bass which turned out to be different from what was expected. Despite this, the crème caramel with brandy soaked prunes and the semifreddo desserts were very good.

Another review highlighted that while the setting is second to none, the food should be great rather than merely good for the prices charged. There is nothing particularly special about the menu, and all sides are extra.
