Chosen spontaneously for its interior courtyard and because it is the Madeira wine museum - with banana trees! A few small tables, white tablecloths and a cozy atmosphere.
Surprising/very French menu - only a few local dishes, and a few dishes cooked with Madeira wine.
Friendly service but not very fast. Good dishes but prices a little expensive compared to the other places tested.

Great experience! My boyfriend and I had reservations through The Fork on the day, and we were delighted with the dining experience.
We were very well received, the setting is magnificent - the tables are spaced apart, the decoration is elegant and intimate. From the food, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff, everything is 5 stars. A hidden corner that deserves more recognition. Wonderful quality food that differs greatly from other extremely touristy restaurants we have in the center of Funchal. Everything very fresh and served accompanied by beautiful stories about our island. I recommend it 100%, I will return without any doubt.
