“Definitely the place to go if you like good food and nice service, at the same time not wanting to pay for fancy setting or white linen.
Family business, super friendly staff, speaking English and enjoying serving good food to whoever comes.
Ask for the "do dia" dishes.
When in doubt order less, the plates are literally full.
Vegetarian options: Few are available, but they are decent.“

“We have visited this place and I loved it! We ate 2 Bolos filled with cheese and cooked ham and a sweet caramel. Super fresh and tasty bowls and the sweets too. EVERYTHING HOMEMADE!! The atmosphere is very pleasant. They have few tables but when we were there we had seats without waiting. The young girl who attended us was friendly and nice. We took takeaway bowls 5un €4.5 and sweets approx. €1.5! Very good price!! and unbeatable quality! I recommend visiting it without fail!!“

“We had a quick and delicious lunch here with soup, bifanas, and burgers made on the local bolos lêvados. They were much larger than what we had bought previously at the store. The coffee and pastries were also good. The ladies working were welcoming and helped us select items for the kids.“

“Phil S. summed it up well:
Nice little inconspicuous bar with good service and delicious food, we ate pizza there. A large one is typically gigantic for the Azores and one pizza is easily enough for 2 people.
Bonus: there is a very friendly cat.
In addition to the pizza, we also had a wonderful burger on the plate - we only saw the size of the pizza when it was served... ?.
Almost too good for just a small snack,“

“The dishes we ordered (tuna steak, fries and pineapple burger) were excellent ?? the waiter was very friendly and helpful, but would urgently need assistance - especially when the restaurant is full, otherwise there would be long waiting times.“
