Restaurante Dom Fernando, located conveniently along a beautiful avenue in Costa Nova, is a fine and refined restaurant with friendly staff. Known for its excellent fish menu, the dishes are tasty albeit slightly above average in price. The traditional place offers a cozy atmosphere and attentive service. House specialties like the Garoupa rice may lack a bit of the "Wow" factor but overall, it's a great place for a family meal. This is a highly recommended restaurant with exquisite cuisine and very good service. The location is excellent. They are very kid-friendly, preparing simple white rice for a child even though it wasn't on the menu. The food, price, and especially the treatment of the entire service were very good, with surprising details. They made room for customers without a reservation. Fresh seafood, tasty rice, and very friendly and helpful staff are highlights. It is advisable to reserve or get on the list soon.
