About Cor de Tangerina

Cor de Tangerina is a cozy restaurant with a unique menu offering differentiated dishes. Despite some minor drawbacks, such as outdated pricing on the entrance poster, the restaurant shines with its tasty food and accommodating staff. The menu caters to dietary restrictions, including celiac-friendly options, and the daily menu is a fair and affordable choice. The restaurant has a beautiful environment with gorgeous garden seating and inside a charming old building. It is a super well located place, in a beautiful and comfortable spot, full of personality. The food is seasonal and delicious, with options like folhadinho de alheira with maionese de maçã, massa fresca with espetinho de tofu and abacaxi, and mil folhas de batata with alheira. Desserts are incredible, like folhado de avelã, and café de bolotas. The restaurant is a wonderful choice for vegan and gluten intolerant people. The staff are kind and helpful, and the service is professional and super friendly. Overall, the restaurant's great atmosphere and exceptional food make it worth the visit, even at a slightly higher price point.

Dishes looked beautiful and the flavors were very different.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Overall I really liked it.
I just wish they would clearly label the vegan dishes or at least mention which ones could be veganized (which were most of them in the end).
Also some dishes I liked more than others.
The place itself was very beautiful , with a nice garden and very cute inside.

We had a fabulous lunch in the restaurant's beautiful garden, washed down by plenty of vinho verde. Just wish we'd been there when we could've gone for dinner, too.
We chose this place to eat to eat on our day trip to Guimarães based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews on HappyCow, and it more than lived up to the hype. The setting was lovely, the well-informed staff was attentive without being intrusive, the kitchen was very accommodating in veganizing vegetarian dishes, and the food itself was creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious.
