“Gosto de tudo na Padoca em Gaia. A comida, e agora com novos menus ao jantar, o espaço sofreu obras e está ainda mais aconchegante, e o staff é muito bom. É o espaço vegan que mais frequento no Grande Porto. Muito bom tb para jantares de grupo. Recomendo mesmo muito.“

“Small, simple, and wonderful !! We came for lunch and the place was packed and we were debating whether to wait or go, fortunately we waited! We had the dish of the day, saffron rice with peas carrots rice and topped with vegan chorizo sausage and a side salad. Followed with a vegan pastel de nada and coffees…excellent!!“

“Absolutely blown away! My wife and I are vegetarians, and we’re so happy to have had dinner here. Everyone was so friendly, and we got to try traditional Portuguese dishes that we would have never tried otherwise. A must visit for anyone traveling to Porto!!“

“First off it’s fully vegan - what’s not to love?!! Friendly staff and a clean pleasant space. Great varied menu - sooo much to choose from. The vegan egg on the Francesinha is pure magic! Good bean burger and the chips are 👌 Brownie desert with ice cream is why I’ll come back here next time we visit Porto.“

“The burrito was a nice size, tasty, served warm not hot. My chips were served hot, heavy pieces unlike American light crunchy fries, more like wedges and salty. Disappointedly, they charge extra for sauces even for ... ketchup. Water is available, self served. Nice atmosphere and good service. Located a bit out of the way. Fair prices. “Our waitress was very friendly & helpful, explaining all about the ethos of the restaurant (local, ethical) & the meals. We had a 3 course tasting menu & 3 other dishes which we shared between 2 of us. The portions were quite small, but ok. They all came out individually, which we liked as the table was small. The flavours were interesting & excellent, with the pumpkin being our favourite. Lovely meal. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-06“
“A great stall tucked in the market. Sold onigiri, fruit bars, salad and some hot snacks when I went. I tried the aubergine onigiri and baked sweet potato with cinnamon. Both were excellent and the stall owners were super friendly and helpful!“

“Porto doesn't have anywhere near the amount of plant-based/vegan restaurants/eateries that Lisbon does; however, daTerra came highly recommended and was a close less-than-10-minute walk from our apartment on the Ribeira, and their buffet offered us a good amount of choices all being 100% vegan. (And, too, the prices were cheap--can't complain about that!) Apparently, the buffet changes daily, so for our 3-night stay in Porto, we popped into daTerra twice (once for lunch; once for dinner). The staff on both occasions were simply terrific--a great group of people! For me, let's say two-thirds of the buffet was YUM; one-third was not to my liking. But, hey, that's a buffet for you: somethings are hits; something are misses--that's why you've got a large variety of food stuffs to choose from. Wines and beers were extra, but food and drinks are so cheap in Portugal that it didn't matter. The fancy desserts were extra, as well; but, again, who cares if it tastes great and is reasonably priced! In sum: daTerra's food rates a very solid 4-star rating from me, and I give it an extra star for the friendly service.“

“One of the best Vegan experiences I had in Portugal so far, she truly set the standard for an awesome restaurant experience. From the moment we sat down to the food delivery you can feel the love in her food and restaurant, I was beyond elated when she said the coffee cake is Vegan. I just about called an Ambulance to pick me up from a food Coma. Thank you thank you thank you thank you ???“

“I went to many cat cafés in the world and I would say this one offers really nice food. It's fully vegan too, unlike most similar places. We really like the fact that they offered several versions of Francesinha (local specialty), including a gluten-free one. We had a great time! You can choose to either eat in the restaurant room (without the cats) or outside where the cats can freely go. We ordered first, then paid a visit to the cats in their dedicated room, until our food was ready. Then we went back inside to eat. Some people were sat outside and we could see cats going on and around them, which could be annoying while eating. But it's down to you, as long as you don't feed them with human food.“
“Happened on this place as we wandered Bordeaux and were happy that we did. The pizza was very good and the dessert pizza went down particularly well! Only gripe was a personal opinion, that the Tiramisu was a little bland, I would have liked more marsala wine in it. Service was good.“

“Wow, we had a great breakfast there today. The restaurant is located on a not-so-busy street and that's what's really nice. The interior is harmonious, there was a little jazz playing in the background and the atmosphere was great for our breakfast. The service was very nice and the breakfast was rich and very tasty.
There's no outside area, but that's not a bad thing. I can recommend the restaurant without reservation!“

“Excellent service, good music and extremely well located.
Regarding the food, it was really surprising, the fantastic combinations they make.
I suggest asking the staff what to choose because they got it right for me!
Without a doubt, it does justice to their excellent reputation, being considered a must-have to visit in the city by the Portuguese!
There is no equal, they make a difference, I will definitely come back!
Thank you Zenith ?“

“I like this type of place, healthy vibes and focusing on whole foods. Even though it's omnivore, labels are clearly indicated next to each meal, which makes it easy to order. Savoury dishes are a bit limited but I really enjoyed the simple sweet potato wedges with guacamole. The highlight was definitely the pancakes... They were just incredible and I enjoyed every bite of it. Next time I have the occasion to go back, I would go just for them!“

“Visited this restaurant because of the distance from our accommodation.
Service was very friendly & pizza tasted good.
Upon arrival we were immediately served a small appetizer (without asking beforehand) (see photo); which of course we were billed for.
The outdoor area was nice, but if it had been full it would have been very restless.
It is also exposed to strong winds despite the wind protection being installed.
• It would be nice if the menu still had VEGAN dishes to choose from :)
Conclusion: Local is recommended! ?“

“Interesting restaurant in Porto, nice place, quite large.
Very delicious Francesinha, mounted sirloin with mountain cheese also very good, high quality meat. The “Chocolate Mountain” dessert is good, I had already tried the same type of cake in Madrid (The Best Chocolate Cake in the World pastry shop, in front of El Retiro)
The only “but” I have is that the waiters are very dry, but otherwise it is a recommendable place“

“Good Italian restaurant to eat in the city. The food is spectacular and the service is also good. I ordered the egg calzone and it was incredible, as well as being quite large. Very friendly and attentive service at all times. The place is quite quiet and located in the center. 100% recommended.“

“It was our first visit to the place. We loved the decor, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly.
The waiting time for orders is considerable but it is necessary for the food to be prepared properly, we see this while enjoying our burgers.
Experience to repeat.
We were 4 people, 2 adults and two children. The kids menu is the size of a Mac Donalds happy meal, but there is no comparison in taste, much better as everything is fresh and cannot be compared. We ordered a starter, garlic bread with mountain cheese and spicy chorizo, recommended by the employee, and it was very good... so good that there was no time to take a photo.
They don't have an ATM or Mbway, today they only accept cash but they have the mainland next door so they can withdraw.
Next time we tried the chicken ones.“
