“Without a doubt, one of the best vegan restaurants in Porto. Food is incredible stuff going above and beyond and the ambience is also spot on . Of course I can recommend the traditional Portuguese dishes such as Francesinha. You really can’t go wrong in coming here.“

“Set up in a very simple way with tables, fridges and shelves with products to buy, the meal will be nothing simple. I had the francesihna and it was truly phenomenal. It had so many different layers of meat that filled me up with pure joy. The also have a different dish of the day for only 6euros.“

“A nice Restaurant with indoor and outside area. Super friendly staff and delicious food. We had one of the burritos and the no chickenburger with fries and a soup. They also had the traditional portuguese dessert in the vegan version pastel de nata. I can highly recommend the food and the location.“

“I’ve been to Kind Kitchen a couple of times now, and it never disappoints! Fun fact: I was the one who gave them the HappyCow sticker that’s now on their door. I visited again tonight, and once more, everything was absolutely delicious! But what blew me away was the fried “egg”! Even though it was marked with inverted commas on the menu, and I know the place is fully vegan, I still couldn’t believe it wasn’t a real egg. The taste, texture, and even the way it behaved were spot on. Just WOW! The Crispy Tofu Bao starter was spicy and delicious, and I also got to try the homemade seitan steak with chimichurri sauce, which was excellent. As always, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-03“

“Absolutely blown away! My wife and I are vegetarians, and we’re so happy to have had dinner here. Everyone was so friendly, and we got to try traditional Portuguese dishes that we would have never tried otherwise. A must visit for anyone traveling to Porto!!“

“This is the best food I’ve eaten so far in Porto. You can taste it’s made with macrobiotic principles and care. The setting is lovely and the service was gentle and friendly. I’m not surprised it was full! We each had the set menu which is a soup and main (you can choose your main) and everything was delicious and healthy. The portions were very theory’s and I landed up taking some away for dinner. We also ordered a juice with Spiralina and it was literally the best tasting juice I’ve ever had! Highly recommend supporting them. Everything you’d want from a vegan restaurant.“

“Super nice stuff people, that were explaining the concept and everything Had two menus for two people(as it was my Birthday) So 4 dishes for each to try (3 of which were accompanied by different cold drinks, it was nice, that they had non alcoholic options) Portions as in fancy dining, on the smaller side The food and drinks are as much sustainable as possible Interesting that we got beetroot hibiscus ravioli and the other dish was with buckwheat with walnuts in the cabbage leaf which are exactly the same sensations as classics, where we come from-Eastern Europe. That's something that we would've considered as our perfect breakfast and lunch flavours. The most flavorful were oystermuchrooms with salad and fennel sorbet was definitely the most intense and surprising to us, which I loved Every dish is focusing on one subject, for example -beetroot Simple, but good:) All together was 110€“

“This makes being vegan fun and tasty. If you are in Porto and vegan, this restaurant is a must! Beautifully furnished restaurant. The food is delicious, very creative and beautifully presented. Top class level. The associated hotel is also highly recommended.“
“A great stall tucked in the market. Sold onigiri, fruit bars, salad and some hot snacks when I went. I tried the aubergine onigiri and baked sweet potato with cinnamon. Both were excellent and the stall owners were super friendly and helpful!“

“One of the best Vegan experiences I had in Portugal so far, she truly set the standard for an awesome restaurant experience. From the moment we sat down to the food delivery you can feel the love in her food and restaurant, I was beyond elated when she said the coffee cake is Vegan. I just about called an Ambulance to pick me up from a food Coma. Thank you thank you thank you thank you ???“

“We ate lunch here and it was a really nice experience. The food was quite good, but the hot dog was a little bit dry. The CAT’ KEBAB was very good. But the highlight was the cats. I love that the restaurant is now fully vegan and that they are supporting a bunch of cats. They give you a rule book when when you sit down with a list of rules of interacting with the cats and how you can donate to them. I think you can also apply to adopt cats. It makes it feel very respectful and like they are truly putting the cats’ interests ahead of anything else.“

“Porto doesn't have anywhere near the amount of plant-based/vegan restaurants/eateries that Lisbon does; however, daTerra came highly recommended and was a close less-than-10-minute walk from our apartment on the Ribeira, and their buffet offered us a good amount of choices all being 100% vegan. (And, too, the prices were cheap--can't complain about that!) Apparently, the buffet changes daily, so for our 3-night stay in Porto, we popped into daTerra twice (once for lunch; once for dinner). The staff on both occasions were simply terrific--a great group of people! For me, let's say two-thirds of the buffet was YUM; one-third was not to my liking. But, hey, that's a buffet for you: somethings are hits; something are misses--that's why you've got a large variety of food stuffs to choose from. Wines and beers were extra, but food and drinks are so cheap in Portugal that it didn't matter. The fancy desserts were extra, as well; but, again, who cares if it tastes great and is reasonably priced! In sum: daTerra's food rates a very solid 4-star rating from me, and I give it an extra star for the friendly service.“
“Happened on this place as we wandered Bordeaux and were happy that we did. The pizza was very good and the dessert pizza went down particularly well! Only gripe was a personal opinion, that the Tiramisu was a little bland, I would have liked more marsala wine in it. Service was good.“

“Wow, we had a great breakfast there today. The restaurant is located on a not-so-busy street and that's what's really nice. The interior is harmonious, there was a little jazz playing in the background and the atmosphere was great for our breakfast. The service was very nice and the breakfast was rich and very tasty.
There's no outside area, but that's not a bad thing. I can recommend the restaurant without reservation!“

“Excellent service, good music and extremely well located.
Regarding the food, it was really surprising, the fantastic combinations they make.
I suggest asking the staff what to choose because they got it right for me!
Without a doubt, it does justice to their excellent reputation, being considered a must-have to visit in the city by the Portuguese!
There is no equal, they make a difference, I will definitely come back!
Thank you Zenith ?“

“I like this type of place, healthy vibes and focusing on whole foods. Even though it's omnivore, labels are clearly indicated next to each meal, which makes it easy to order. Savoury dishes are a bit limited but I really enjoyed the simple sweet potato wedges with guacamole. The highlight was definitely the pancakes... They were just incredible and I enjoyed every bite of it. Next time I have the occasion to go back, I would go just for them!“

“This restaurant chain is something I need in germany. Its all you can eat and considering that the price is really really cheap. The portion sizes of the food are perfect, you get to try everything and dont overstuff yourself. You can even back for seconds and do Not feel uncomfortable. The selection was great and they still delivered more, even though we came in quite late. I particulary likes the focaccia and the filled puff pastry, I dont remember the name sadly. The selection was also very balanced considering carbs, veggies and protein. Not only the buffet was great, but the cakes. They were abolutely stunning, I still dream of them. The slices were so huge and the flavours so rich. The chocolate tart tasted like heaven and the carrot cake was the best I ever had.“

“Visited this restaurant because of the distance from our accommodation.
Service was very friendly & pizza tasted good.
Upon arrival we were immediately served a small appetizer (without asking beforehand) (see photo); which of course we were billed for.
The outdoor area was nice, but if it had been full it would have been very restless.
It is also exposed to strong winds despite the wind protection being installed.
• It would be nice if the menu still had VEGAN dishes to choose from :)
Conclusion: Local is recommended! ?“

“Interesting restaurant in Porto, nice place, quite large.
Very delicious Francesinha, mounted sirloin with mountain cheese also very good, high quality meat. The “Chocolate Mountain” dessert is good, I had already tried the same type of cake in Madrid (The Best Chocolate Cake in the World pastry shop, in front of El Retiro)
The only “but” I have is that the waiters are very dry, but otherwise it is a recommendable place“

“Good Italian restaurant to eat in the city. The food is spectacular and the service is also good. I ordered the egg calzone and it was incredible, as well as being quite large. Very friendly and attentive service at all times. The place is quite quiet and located in the center. 100% recommended.“

“It was our first visit to the place. We loved the decor, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly.
The waiting time for orders is considerable but it is necessary for the food to be prepared properly, we see this while enjoying our burgers.
Experience to repeat.
We were 4 people, 2 adults and two children. The kids menu is the size of a Mac Donalds happy meal, but there is no comparison in taste, much better as everything is fresh and cannot be compared. We ordered a starter, garlic bread with mountain cheese and spicy chorizo, recommended by the employee, and it was very good... so good that there was no time to take a photo.
They don't have an ATM or Mbway, today they only accept cash but they have the mainland next door so they can withdraw.
Next time we tried the chicken ones.“
