This cafe and bakery is aming the very good obes in Portugal. They offer a huge variety of bread, cakes, pastries, snacks, sandwiches, salad bowls and lunch options. The have fresh juices daily along with kombucha and other drinks. Prices are very reasonable
While in Portugal I discovered Pao de Deus, and had to have it wherever I went (bakeries, cafes, grocery stores). A taxi driver introduced me to PADARIA PORTUGUESA and I was hooked. The VERY BEST Pao de Deus in Lisboa. It's doughy and filled with coconut. Most other bakeries had little coconut, hard bread or just didn't have the right combination of a great dessert. Next trip to Lisboa - first stop PADARIA PORTUGUESA.

Slow service is not the fault of the staff who are friendly, but the fault of the owners, during peak service hours the staff cannot serve the customer, make a juice, a sandwich, pack 2 loaves of bread, get a coffee, do the bill . Few employees and those who are able to perform miracles. The delay in service is at the level of state services
