“Impeccable! I have nothing negative to point out. Traditional Portuguese food, tasty, fresh, good ingredients. It's all good. The suckling pig patties are perfect, the breast is delicious, the homemade sliced potatoes are the best I've ever eaten. But I think anything you order won't disappoint. Without a doubt coming back and with more friends and family to share the good things!“

“After so many years, I finally managed to go to "my" place today, with my grandfather and my mother. We were very well attended to, the food was spectacular (much better than some restaurants in Linda-a-Velha that only advertise) and the atmosphere was very calm.I recommend arriving early, as it fills up quickly, or make a reservation.“

“Busy place, even on a Wednesday evening, but with excellent food, even though the service was , at times, haphazard, we were seated inside as all the outside tables were taken, and enjoyed a great meal of snacks or petiscos as they are called in Portuguese. We had peppers stuffed with tuna, a delicious octopus salad and mushrooms Al bulhao, when that proved not to be enough, we added mackerel with peppers and onions on bread(tasted a lot bettere. than my description makes it sound) all nicely accompanied by a reasonable bottle of Portuguese wine“

“This is one of my favorite places in Lisbon.
An excellent example of traditional Portuguese cuisine, well executed with simple techniques.
Excellent product and very good treatment of it.
The dishes are abundant, especially the main ones.
Attentive and fun service. You leave the premises with a smile and the desire to return.
The place is a bit small and gets a little noisy when there are a lot of people, which is usually the case.
It is advisable to reserve in advance.“

“We went there for dinner and it was honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever been too.
Nice vibes, small but spacious and wonderful staff.
The food was INCREDIBLE! We had the Tuna Tataki, Tuna Tartar, Ceviche, Shrimp Tacos as starters, the Miso Octopus and Scallop Linguine as mains and the amazing Caramel Lava Cake for dessert. Every single dish was perfectly seasoned and tasted awesome.
I would give a thousand stars if Google let me, and I'll definitely come back! ?“

“Always impeccable in almost every aspect. Great wine list, delicious desserts as expected.
A negative point is the prices, very expensive in general, a family nowadays that eats one meal out hardly eats for the rest of the month.
I don't understand how restaurants are almost always full these days.“

“Revelation.
Very nice, professional and helpful service. Nice welcome, excellent proactive contact with guests.
You can feel that the approach to food is very good. The menu is not overloaded, the dishes are partly made from home-made products.
We can definitely recommend what we ate: Camaro a Tasco, Choco Frito, Cacholeira. And delicious ice cream.
The background music is also spot on, and there's a local atmosphere so you don't feel like you're a tourist.
Thank you. We will try to come back someday.“

“Very helpful and friendly staff! They helped us very well with recommending and explaining dishes. When we received the food we were completely blown away, it really is a taste sensation and has a very authentic taste. At the end we were given typical Nepalese tea on the house and this was certainly good in taste. For anyone staying in this area of Lisbon I would absolutely recommend the restaurant!“

“We had dinner several days, a place close to the hotel area, and both the food and the service were excellent.
Thanks to Diogo, who attended to us both days, and was very kind and attentive.
Without a doubt a very good option, also for the price.“

“Spectacular food and service show why Alma deserves their two Michelin stars! We enjoyed every dish, and the pork and potato terrine remains the best dish we experienced on our trip across Portugal.
A small deduction was made for the environment, which is beautiful but puts guests a little close together in what became a noisier dinner experience than we would expect for the upscale nature. Additionally, the overall value rounds out the 4/5 review. We would never expect such artistic culinary creations to be frugal, but the cost of the tasting menu with no consideration for wine pairing was a small note in the negative.
All in all we would recommend Alma as an experience if you love appreciating the art that fine dining can be, and their staff were some of the best in the business!“

“The second time in three days that we have come here especially for them. They confirm themselves to be excellence for us. We ate in other places in Lisbon but how you eat here and for what you pay is incomparable to anyone else. The service then unsurpassed. They are very attentive to the customer, it feels like family, generous portions and very low prices. They also offered us some liqueurs at the end and an extra coffee. They are wonderful people. I have no other words to describe them, only that if you don't pass by here you don't know what you're missing. You won't find anything better.“

“Small bar in the Belém neighborhood of Lisbon, with a small terrace. Very good homemade food. The waiter was very attentive and very pleasant. Value for money, the best in Lisbon by far. If you are in the Belém neighborhood, do not hesitate to eat at this Bar.

“The food was good!
The dishes were well made, good plating and presentation.
As for the dishes, rich, flavorful, you could tell that the product was good. We noticed the care in the plating and the service was very friendly (both the girl and the boy).
The price may be a little high for what we ordered, but not excessive.“

“Very pleasant restaurant, reservation being essential to eat there, the number of people in the room is regulated and allows a calm meal in a subdued atmosphere.
The service is warm and quality, the owner takes care to personalize the service and all with a smile.
The cuisine is hearty and tasty.
We had a great time marking the end of our stay in Lisbon, and can only recommend it.
Vegetarian options: You can taste a Portuguese sausage specialty with meat and bread, suitable for vegetarians. The vegetarian dishes are very tasty.“

“Taken by friends, as I was unfamiliar with the place, it proved to be a gastronomic surprise, despite the noise not allowing for large conversations. Without ever reaching the stratospheric limit of "divine", the small restaurant served dishes of good, honest and unpretentious Portuguese food. The only negative note for the creamed milk, floured and with few eggs, which could have been something from a packet. A shame, because the burnt sugar topping was delicious.“

“A really lovely late lunch/early dinner. Sat outside and had a great time. We got piri piri prawns, breaded cuttlefish, bruschetta, sautéed mushrooms, honey sausage - would recommend all of those! Sangria was great and we tried the port too. The service was excellent, very kind people and felt like a very authentic experience and opportunity to learn more about Sintra. It’s about 5 minutes from the station so ideal for the start or end of a day trip. Also, they have soft blankets if it feels a little chilly. A highlight of our holiday and a meal we won’t forget!“

“If you haven't been to this place, you're missing out big time! Mushroom lover or not, you need to try this restaurant! In some dishes you don't even see the mushrooms, but rest assured, they are there. We tried a few dishes, my favourites were the perfect egg, the hummus, the risotto, and the desserts. Special node to the desserts, especially if you enjoy a bit of savouriness, definitely go for them. The restaurant has a very interesting character that is left open to interpretation and it's a good point for discussion. Overall a fantastic experience, definitely a must when visiting Lisbon. You won't find traditional Portuguese dishes, but you might find a new favourite restaurant!“

“We went on time for the Bolinhos de Bacalao and they are really good and at a good price, with a sauce that accompanies it great, they served us well. Access is not easy, there is no car and it is on a steep slope with the ground somewhat slippery, but it is worth it.
Parking: There is no parking nearby
Kid-friendliness: Yeah

“We were just in for drinks and this place has everything, great atmosphere, the best self-brewed beers (that were everything as was described on the menu and even by the personnel) we were in doubt between some and we got to try just to be sure. There’s so much history in this place and the staff is happy to tell you about it! All of them were great but the one we actually got to know by name also had amazing stories to tell about what went and still goes on in the neighbourhood, so Paddy, if you’re reading this, thanks for saving our night by lending my gf’s phone some power to get back to our hotel and us to get back to you guys for stories that marked our trip in Lisbon :)“

“Laid-back creative bistro with seasonal sharing plates and a pure selection of terroir-driven wines (that I did not taste because I don’t drink but maybe one day again). Warm atmosphere and welcoming staff. A unique dining experience with a stunning variety of tastes and textures. Ordered five plates including dessert. The Ceviche de jaca verde was a great start introducing me to the imaginative world of Senhor USA with mythical blends between each fruit and the tangy touch from the red onion.
The Curgete was by far my favorite providing a blend of succulent flavors between every ingredient. The Pleurotus was alluring with its fusion of ingredients, surprising enough everything went well together even though I’m not a fan of some of the ingredients individually. The arroz, kale and espinafre plate was rich and slightly heavier than I expected. The sea asparagus was the highlight for me as its texture provided the perfect balance in the dish.
Unfortunately the Parfait de Morango wasn’t to my likening due to the cold overbearing the flavor and the dislike in its semi solid form.
The waiters and chefs provided a cozy atmosphere and it was a good experience.“

“Geweldig restaurant. Goed eten tegen een goede prijs. Je wordt gelijk opgevangen door het personeel die wel van een praatje en grapje houden. Eten werd snel geleverd en van hoge kwaliteit. Onze ober heeft zelf een gratis schotje gegeven om de Portugeze cultuur te proeven.“

“The truth is that for the price of the dishes and the quality of the food and that it is prepared to order, it is an ideal restaurant. I recommend it, I had not tried Indian food and I have already gone three times.(2022)
Update 2024: almost two years later, I have returned to this restaurant, two more times, I am addicted to the Nepali and Indian food in this place, it is still just as good or better and the same people continue to work, so I have already been five times to this restaurant
Vegetarian options: In Indian culture there are tons of vegetarian and very tasty dishes.“

Beyond dining and drinking - Try the Garum - if you like food, you will need to get this!“

“Wonderful venue in Bairro Alto. We arrived here by chance after a tiring but wonderful walk up high. The kids, very young, welcomed us even though it was 4 in the afternoon. The tables outside hosted several people from all over the world. We ate very well, the menu was limited but very satisfying, all the dishes were delicious.
Competitive prices. Absolutely to return“

I recommend it, if you are going to eat delicious, cheap, and go somewhere else to have an after-dinner meal.
The only downside is that you come out smelling like charcoal... but it made up for me because of how good the food was.“
