Mercearia Castello is a beautiful and peaceful place next to the castle, with peacocks adding charm. It offers a set menu with coffee, pea soup, and a main of codfish, rice, and salad for 14€. The staff serve delicious fresh fruit drinks and good cocktails, as well as great tapas, including toasted sandwiches with sardines and vegetables. The lovely atmosphere makes it perfect for post-visit relaxation, with friendly waiters and no mass tourism, although the service can be a little slow.
