Pastéis de Belém Reviews
The best pastel de nata I tried in Lisbon. The filling inside is very dense, creamy, the outside is super crunchy. There is the possibility of adding cinnamon or icing sugar on top. Literally extraordinary.I was very lucky because I went in the evening and I didn't find a queue, otherwise I think there would be a long wait because the place has a large entrance to accommodate a nice queue of people waiting.Inside there are very large and characteristic rooms.Absolutely worth trying...read full review
Definitely not to be missed while in Belem as this is a place serving from 1800's . The tart is definitely not that much sugary compared to other places we ate so far. The line up might be longer sometimes but it moves quickly.

An unmissable place in Lisbon, don't forget to try the Pastel de Belém!!It has 2 queues:1) buy at the counter to take away2) table to sit and eat at the placeWe chose to eat there, we were lucky as the queue was only 10 minutes long.We soon sat down and placed our orders. It has savory, sweet and drink options.I also loved the orange pie.The salon is very large and the service is excellent. It would be so good if there were more stores spread across Lisbon, it's a success.
