“The food was absolutely delicious and the cold tea is also great! The plates were absolutely stuffed, so there’s a lot of meat inside (or veggies if that’s what you rather) and that makes it so worth it. The staff, well, one wasn’t too friendly, but the other 2 were! Lovely place to have a chat and some nice dishes. FYI: It does take a while for the food to come! The total for 2 people was €32 (everything in the photos + 1 Coke Zero)“

“Our first stop on recommendation. A hit! Great atmosphere, wonderful, friendly service and a real feast for the palate. Waffles with cinnamon and caramel could use some fruit to break the sweet taste, but the pancake is a revelation without compromise and in tandem with a smoothie it is an unforgettable visual and taste experience! we will definitely visit this place again. I highly recommend...“

“The food was great. Amazing quality. However, the portions are very small and the prices are a bit expensive.
The staff was great, super friendly and helpful
The only thing I’d change are the portions. for the price I think they can increase it“

“As a pizza fan that I am, I couldn't go through Lisbon without trying Forno d'Oro's offering, considered the best pizza in Portugal, according to 50 Top Pizza. The menu includes pizzas inspired by Portuguese gastronomy and, of course, by the great Italian classics that are so popular all over the world. The most striking thing about the restaurant's setting is the wood-burning oven, which is covered, as its name suggests, in a golden color. The staff was very friendly and knew several languages, including Spanish and English. As for food, we ordered two pizzas, one seasonal with Portuguese ingredients and another from the Italian section of the menu. Both lived up to expectations with a very well made dough and rich, quality ingredients. We also tried the tiramisu which was pretty good. Without being the best pizza I have ever had, I would rate it as one of the best and, of course, I would recommend visiting this restaurant if you like this Italian dish or if it is the first time you want to enjoy it with excellent quality.“

“Yes this was really good! Food delicious and special. The cucumber dessert, to name just a few. Glasses of wine from 6 euros.
Carafes of water free. The four of us lost 160 euros. You have to go here. And I don't say that often.“

“We paid 12€ for all you can eat buffet. (Drinks & desserts not included). It was our third time visiting Lisbon and every time we came here. You can repeat as much as you like in one sitting. Amazing! Great flavor and lots options. The soup of the day never fails. They should be top rated!“

“I've been here a couple of times, and every time I go to Lisboa travelling via Oriente station, I try to make a beeline for it. Fabulous food, wonderful , person attention, a real family business. And if you have never tried chilled blackberry juice (sumo de amoras) with berries floating in it on a very hot summer's day...baby, you haven't lived!!“

“the menu somewhat picks itself for vegan as they recommend 2 dishes per person so we shared all 4 vegan options. the rest cannot be made vegan. staff where great but service a little slow, don’t eat here if you’re in a rush! while expensive for Lisbon not crazy, 4 dishes and a glass of wine each came to €35 each“

“Restaurante centrado en la sostenibilidad con platos que cambian según el día y la temporada. Probamos una ensalada césar (riquísima la salsa) y un plato de pasta. También un queso que estaba estupendo. Sin ser platos rompedores, más bien comida cotidiana, estaba todo muy muy bueno. Buenos sabores e ingredientes. El trato es muy atento. Fenomenal. “I have tried a lot of Indian food in my life, from different countries, and this is probably one of the best. The cheese naan bread was very unique, the chicken korma and tikka masala looked normal but was really flavorful, creamy and heavy on the stomach“

Een heel mooie wijnkaart eerlijk geprijsd. Voor een 2?? zaak betaal je eerlijke prijzen.

“Wow, this is the place I came to two days in a row.
A real seafood restaurant of the best!!!!!!! Come to Lisbon and come here
You'd be stupid if you didn't eat it, really..
I recommend that you make a reservation before going.
Be sure to try the octopus (poppo dish) and cutlassfish dish!!!!
I think I’ll remember this even when I go to Korea ㅠㅠ
It's a bit scary on the way up, so ladies, make sure to go when the sun is shining! Absolutely“

“A great little cafe on a narrow street with the best breakfast/brunch. Freshly squeezed juice, super good bread, croissants, yogurt with granola, egg - everything you could wish for. Breakfast includes a hot drink and a juice.
We were here two years ago and were so excited that we came here several times in one week and now we absolutely had to eat our only breakfast in Lisbon here.“

“Friendly staff. The children thought it was the best Chicken tikka masala and Chicken korma they had ever tasted. I took a vegetarian thali plate and it had lentil dish, spinach dish, potato dish, chick pea dish and rice. Took a naan bread up to. The potatoes had a great seasoning and everyone was very happy with the food and wanted to go back.“

“Magnifique restaurant et surtout bar à vins avec une cave extraordinaire, dans un cadre chaleureux.
Les tapas et plats sont très élaborés et faits maison, à partager ou en solo.
Les conseils du serveur sur le choix des vins est très pertinent, il était à l’écoute de nos goûts et a su trouver les bons accords mets/vins.
Service un peu long cependant avec un restaurant bondé.
Réservation conseillée.“

“Top croissant in Lisbon!
The scrambled eggs and the poached eggs are also very good.
Açaí bowl is in balance with the granola and with the fruit.
Only things what l don’t like here are the drinks (l tried: orange juice, smoothies, ice latte).“

“We had a great dinner here. The waitress is a sweetheart. She kinda messed up our drinks but it made our night better in the end. Everyone smiles, the atmosphere is great and the food is tasty. Would come back again any time.

“As its name suggests, this is a “restaurant” made for having a quick lunch and enjoying a delicious brunch. Be careful there are quite a few people so you have to be a little patient but the wait is well worth it. Their menu is very complete and many things are tempting. Our dishes were absolutely delicious and very well presented. Same for drinks and milkshakes. The prices are a little high but still reasonable. In short, this establishment for a quick lunch in the middle of a day of sightseeing! We highly recommend.“

“It feels like a restaurant frequented by locals. It really tastes like Seabeth.
Have lunch and come back in the evening.
It's much more delicious here than the tourist patch restaurants in the city. I want to try everything, but it's a shame.
You don’t speak English, but you are kind.“

“Absolutely lovely authentic Portuguese food. We had the oxtail, the turbot, and the mushroom rice. Also the starters were amazing including the dried Tuna salad and the squid. Super attentive service by Alex, they were fully booked but then accommodated us. Highly recommended and cannot wait to go again“

“Delicious food, very friendly service, takes care of guests at a high level. The dishes were served very quickly, about 15 minutes of waiting for the main course. “We went to Santelmo on a Sunday just before 6:30 p.m. and we didn't have a reservation but they were still able to take us. Would definitely recommend making a reservation though because it seating was full between 7-8 pm and you don't want to miss eating here!
Food and drinks were delicious and a treat for the eyes as well. We had drinks, appies, one main each and my husband had a digestif. The mains are generously portioned (3 pork cheek medallions with sweet potato in one dish and half an octopus plus the head in the other), so we could have got away with splitting one to save some room for dessert.
The atmosphere was great, the restaurant has a cool modern vibe and the staff were very friendly, attentive and happy to explain anything or make suggestions.
We had 3 drinks, water, 2 appies and 2 mains for 80 Euros including tax and tip.“

“A cool space, with a friendly atmosphere but tends to be very crowded. For dinner, reservation is recommended. The service is friendly, but it depends a little on the person. All the food we tried was good, despite some intense flavors. It's worth the experience.“

“We’d read about this place on HC and decided to go track it down. It’s a bit of a ‘treasure hunt’ to find but well worth it! Initially we were the first customers of the night but it soon began to fill up. It’s not the biggest restaurant in the world so a reservation would be advised if you’re dining any later than 20:00. Our waiter was more than attentive and made us feel very welcome and took the time to explain the menu and its seasonal changes for November/December. We chose to go with the tasting menu which consisted of seven smaller versions of each option on the menu. Each one was prepared and cooked impeccably by the two chefs working that night. The chefs seemed to work in a quiet and professional manner as little communication between them was noticed…… They didn’t need to! The kitchen is open and intimate, you can watch them preparing and cooking the food. The whole place has a lovely intimate vibe to it and we would throughly recommend trying this place if you’re looking for something a little different to the normal plant based options.“

“Probably a tad on the pricier side of Portugal but very good. Good sangria, great Iberian ham, and tried this interesting banana chicken toastie
Great night spot. I went at like 10:30pm

“Rosa da Rua was an incredible experience and one of our favorite dining experiences in Lisbon (we couldn't stop talking about the food our entire trip). The atmosphere was very charming. We made a reservation in advance, which we would recommend doing as this is a busy dinner spot. Magnificent food and service! Hoping to return one day.“

“I had been coming here a few years ago and I remember loving it, so I decided to go back to see the new menu.
I ordered the Hey Salmon, which is an authentic fusion of European and Asian flavors. It has Nordic-style marinated salmon, Greek Tzatziki, Asian Edamame beans, and even red onion pickles that add that impeccable finishing touch. It was magnificent, I loved the composition, a perfect delight. And to continue the global flavor route, Eastern European Syrniki for dessert, with wild fruits and caramel, in an alchemy of flavors of phenomenal charm. The only thing I didn't like was the Passion Fruit Lemonade, which is completely artificial, carbonated, and you can see that it's already bottled, it's not made there, and it's anything but natural. It's a shame, the delicious dishes deserved a worthy drink. Service was quick and friendly.“

“We went expressly because one of the diners has celiac disease. The burgers are impressive in flavor and presence. The attention is very friendly from the waiters and the atmosphere is very relaxed and calm. A way for people with celiac disease to have a very good burger and more things with peace of mind. What was said was correct.
Dietary restrictions: Ideal for celiacs“

“It had good reviews and I was not disappointed. It is in the center, the place is one of the best I have been to considering that it is a restaurant with good prices. The service was very good, attentive and they did their part to make us understand, I don't speak Portuguese. The food was all very good, the only thing I ordered was seafood rice and it had a lot of flavor of some aromatic herb, but it happened to me somewhere else, I guess it's a Lisbon custom. Good price, highly recommended“

“We were recommended by a friend. And everything was perfect. We went early, and we got rid of waiting, because when we left there was a long line. Exceptional service, the waitress was perfect. It has two parts, one for at most 4 people, and the other part for groups. Without a doubt, I would return. Recommended ?/?.

“On the side of the house. Always very crowded, I thought it was more of a tourist place, one of those full of frills, but it's the opposite.

“A hidden gem of Lisbon, a small, cozy place where every option in the menu can be made vegan. My previous experience of Nepalese food is a bit generic, but this place dispelled my stereotypes. The dumplings and the soup and all the sauces and dopings were delicious and nerdy! All the spicy stuff is served on side so it is also kids friendly. The staff is also exeptional - we felt very welcome, and got good recommendations. The 1,5 euro tequila shot at the end was a cherry on the top.“

“Very nice hidden gem if you ask me. The food was amazing, we had different tapas that we shared and we did not discover one we did not love.

“During our stay in Portugal, we had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional restaurant and were deeply impressed by the quality and originality of the food, as well as the exquisite hospitality of the staff.
The cuisine proved to be an authentic triumph of creativity and flavours. Each dish, from the most traditional to the most innovative, has been prepared with a skill that denotes a great passion for gastronomy. Even the desserts, absolutely out of the ordinary, represented a delicious and unforgettable surprise, perfectly crowning the entire meal.
The staff, from the sommelier to the waiters, stood out for their friendliness, professionalism and attention to detail. Their ability to interpret and satisfy our tastes was admirable. Despite the language barriers, they demonstrated endless patience and communication skill that made us feel welcomed and understood. Their friendliness and cheerfulness further enriched our experience, making the evening even more pleasant.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the entire team for making our evening so special. This experience will remain indelibly imprinted in our memories as one of the best moments of our trip to Portugal.

“The food was good!
The dishes were well made, good plating and presentation.
As for the dishes, rich, flavorful, you could tell that the product was good. We noticed the care in the plating and the service was very friendly (both the girl and the boy).
The price may be a little high for what we ordered, but not excessive.“
