Casa da Tia Helena Reviews
We ordered grilled sardines and grilled sea bass. As a starter, some cod fritters. Everything was very delicious!
It was sooo tasty. My boyfriend and I had grilled cod and we absolutely loved it!
Friendly staff, typical dishes, good food.

Casa da Tia Helena offers excellent traditional cuisine with welcoming staff and impeccable service. The sardines are brutal. Located near the castle, it provides a peaceful dining experience inside or outside on a pleasant terrace. Affordable prices make it a must-visit in Lisbon. The pasteis de bacalhau (cod fritters) and vegetable rice are highly recommended. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, just a few minutes walk from the Miradouro de Santa Luzia. The service is really nice, with patient and attentive waiters. The cuisine is basic but good, with excellent grilled sea bream and good bacalhau à bras (shredded codfish with eggs and potatoes). Homemade soup of the day is a highlight, but the desserts are not as impressive, being either industrial or too sweet.
